It would have probably been better had the Fed taken 25 basis points in September, rather than waiting.

And some are saying that this paltry increase will be the only one until after the election.

I would hope that there is another 50 basis point rise between now and the election, but typically the Fed does not like the looks of raising rates within 6 months of a Presidential election.

I just hope they don't make much of a move before my house is finished being built. I should be done by the end of February is the hope, keeping my fingers crossed.
