Understanding of course that the last sentence was meant to be sarcastic.

The higher graduation rates also coalesce around the counties that host, or are close to; Boone, Asheville, Charlotte, Winston Salem/Greensboro/High Point, Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill and Wilmington. These of course are where the jobs are. They are also the counties that our Republican Legislature is targeting to "keep them in their place".

I don't think this is anything new. One thing you'd have to do is stuff like look at other factors such as race. If you were to, for instance, color code States by percent White population you'd see indications of association between percent White population and being better off as well as percent Black population and being worse off. When you look at the Southeast, you're looking at States that have high percent Black populations.

Also, associations pertaining to jurisdiction can be misleading. And yes I know I wrote about the gun ownership association in another thread. But just as an example:

If you were to do an association between per captia income and States you would think that there is an association such that higher income people tend to vote Democrat in national elections. State's with higher per capita incomes tend to vote Democrat. But if you look at exit polling where individuals are assessed, there is clearly an association such that higher income people tend to vote Republican. The true direct association is directly opposite of what you would expect based on looking at the association involving the jurisdictions.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Not really......higher per capita income suggests a larger middle class... States in he southeast don't spend as much on education (obviously).... :coffee:

Could be, but you'll notice every state without a I-A football team is in the same boat. Only I-A coaches are the highest paid.

I would have acknowledged PWNS intriguing point but just like partisanship and religious identity, I've also risen above racialism. :tothehand:

Yup. Team Brown is well aware Obama didn’t do shit for us during his 8 years as he completely ignored the immigration issue. The Team Brown vote is up for grabs… :coffee:

What does Team Brown want from an immigration bill, specifically? Serious.

I'm sure the conks will bend over backwards to help our brown brothers attain their piece of the American Dream.
