Yes. A 3-1 win that has them 1 spot out of relegation with 2 games remaining. Things are looking good for them right now.

Newcastle is in trouble now. 1 point from getting out of regulation but their last game is on the road against Aston Villa.

West Bromwich Albion is the first to get regulated following a 2-0 loss to Liverpool.

Newcastle is currently battling to get out of regulation. So far they have shown some great lines but haven't put one in 0-0 in the 17'.

You can tell they are playing for their PL lives.

A loss and they are down, anything better then Hull City and they are up.

Aston Villa is playing about the same as Newcastle down the stretch and they have nothing to play for.

Newcastle needs to rally. Aston Villa scored the first goal on a deflection of a Newcastle player.

1-0 near end first half.

ManU up on Hull City 1-0

West Ham tied up with Middlesbourgh 1-1

At this point Newcastle and Middlesbourgh get regulated.

I don't follow Newcastle United, but by all the accounts that I've read, this truly was a nightmare season.

just a perfect storm of coaching issues, they bring in a ringer of a coach... he bails VERY early, the new coach steps up, things get a bit better... then he has a coronary issue... the ship lists for a bit, and they bring in a footballing legend... but even he can't save them...

awful, awful season... added to that the seeming delight taken in their woes by fans of other teams (esp. the big 3)

Tough season, but they'll bounce back. It's not like the violations and penalties the Leeds faced that has killed that club.
