Well, the Eagles would've picked 8th if they didn't blow this game. Might be the difference between getting the 3rd best OT in the draft versus one of the top two at that position, assuming the Eagles do the right thing and draft an offensive lineman. But yeah, having to go to Seattle now versus playing the Rams in London is a definite blunder by this team. Where was all this professional pride when they were losing games earlier this year?

I am pretty sure they would have been 10th like the Giants. They would have had the same record as teams 8-11. Tiebreak is SOS in reverse order (so team that played the worst schedule goes first out of the group since that makes them the worst team of the group).

8- Miami - SOS = .469
9 - TB - SOS = .484
10 - Philly - SOS = .508 (would have been slightly higher if Giants won but no difference in placement)
11- Chicago - SOS = .547 (toughest in the NFL)

My bad, I thought head to head was a tie breaker. Thanks for the correction.
