Meh, I couldn't read too far. Every dynasty has a window. Some are larger than others, but to think the Pats will be good forever is stupid. :coffee:

Forever..?
Who said forever

I'll give you the short version:
Everybody is signed through next year - they'll have $17 mil in cap space
after they release jerrod Meyo and two other's collecting dust

Better put that to an Offensive Line. And no first round pick

Patriots finished the season 3-5. Tom Brady showed a major decline in the last half of the season. As long as Brady is around, Pats will still be favored in the weak AFC East, but don't look for any Super Bowls

Who looked worse... I ask you
Brady or Carson Palmer..?

and obviously they need a line and a running back and a wide receiver

Yes, Carson had a bad game. That is for another thread. Injured hand really bothered him, and yes, post-season jitters.

But what does that have to do with the horrid O-line for NE?

Right...
So coming into the season the New England line was ranked 2nd in the NFL by Focus
Injuries completely derailed them by week 8 they were a patchwork at best

If they suffer even a normal statistical number of line injuries next season they will have a good line

The point is:
Before this season began NFL pundits were saying they were going to finish 3rd in their division
and finish somewhere around 9-7

So I'm curious where you have them next season... 9-7 do you think..?

Depends on who they sign. If they have the same team as against Denver, 9-10 wins would be my guess.

If they spend wisely, and get a few FA, and if the line can get healthy, 11-12 is the max.

Games next year:

HOME: BUF, MIA., NYJ, BAL, CIN, LA, SEA, HOU 6-2 at home
AWAY: BUF, MIA., NYJ, CLE, PIT, ARI, SF, DEN 3-5 on the road

Sweet Jeezus Johnny...
Do you read about the NFL before you post these things

Firstly Denver's defensive free agents are amass
and the likelihood of them getting all is quite literally impossible with the cap at 153 Mil

Danny Trevathan
Von Miller
Antonio Smith
Malik Jackson
Dave Burton

and about 5 more actually...
Trevathan and Miller are Platinum level $11 to $15 Mil minimum guys

With no QB on the Roster for 2016 (Osweiler is a free agent)
and with none of those players signed for next season the Bronco's are at $142
Read-up a bit before you play this game with somebody who actually knows what's going on

You Mean the person that said it was going to be the patriots and the Packers in the Super Bowl and to book it because you knew what was going on and none of the rest of us did?

Yeah I'll take that advice

Yeah I'll take that advice
John,
Statistically its very difficult to choose the teams going to the superbowl
In fact Vegas gives horrible odds across the board - that's a cute but meaningless observation
And I didn't pick the packers (but that's beside the point)

The point is - People (like you and Cluck) have been telling anybody who will listen
that the Patriots are going to suck "Next year" for about 10 years now
and they have done nothing but win more games than any other team in the NFL during that span

:kisswink:

I get it - you hate them...
But all of their key players are signed
and they're going to have $17 mil in Cap Space
I hardly expect them to "suck" next season and anyone but an idiot should agree

Not sure where you get that I have said that the patriots will suck in the past

And I did pick them to win anywhere between 9 to 11 games so that's not like I'm picking them to suck next year

I swear patriot fans are the most sensitive easily offended people on the planet

That is your point?

You'd better get another point.

Find my post where I have been telling anyone that will listen that the Patriots will suck, "Next Year."

Frankly, I don't give a hoot about pro football...couldn't tell you who was playing this weekend until I saw the teams on TV.

Still don't know when the "Panthers" came into the league...and Payton Manning, Pretty Boy, and that Gronk dude were the only three names I knew were in the NFL from both games. Cam I heard of from college...didn't know he made the pros.

But yeah...lump me in with whatever your point is.

However, you can count me in as a person who doesn't like lying, cheating sacks of shit. So eff the Deflatriots.

Oh, and I won't be reading your link, but thanks...I think. My interest in whatever is in that link is on par with you wanting to read about kids eating boogies.
