No, I said Libya. Ousting Qaddafi from Libya simply laid the groundwork for our efforts to oust Assad from Syria.

As far as casualty comparisons, you are simply looking at our casualties...in the short run. The actual casualties for the countries being bombed are nearly equal...and yet the conflicts have spread and continue to spread, so there is an excellent chance that Obama's actions will result in more Middle Eastern casualties in the long run. The rupture we've caused however, and the casualties for both us and our so called enemies, will reverberate for generations.

And cost? The refugees are costing billions of dollars per country, some into dozens of billions...and that is only the beginning. Those costs will escalate over the years. That doesn't count the money we spent on the executing our actual wars. Obama's actions are not cheap...and won't end soon, as we've seen in Afghanistan and Iraq. The foreign policy legacies of Bush and Obama will be laughed at in the future...while we still can't get computers in every school.

It would be nice to get a third party candidate that points out the ignorance and arrogance of Hillary, Obama, and the hawks on the Republican side. Trillions spent on wasteful wars...money that could have been spent to improve our own country.

But the ignorant dopes on both sides scream, "BENGHAZI!" at each other. :dunce:

Trump wasn't in it so I didn't watch. :coffee:
Spoiler: show
Actually I cut my cable last month when my introductory rate with Comcast ended. My TV has only been turned on to watch Netflix in the last 3 weeks.

Points taken on the greater Middle East.

I've been record as favoring a CID/Cluck policy.

Just watched the sound bites this morning. Megyn's hairdo sucked. Cruz, Big Brown, and El Gringo (a/k/a Busho Furioso) bitch-slapped each other about who was tougher on immigration. Waste of airtime. I watched the History Channel and ESPN last night.

Did it look like Cameron Diaz's hair in Something About Mary?

If not, she should get rid of her husband and I'd volunteer to be her new hairdresser.

The NYT pays someone on their staff to keep a list of Trump's twitter insults?

Really?

That passes for journalism for the liberal elite that read that rag?
