Well 99% plus of those people are white so put 2 & 2 together. I will call Cam out on not diving for that fumble in the 4Q, if I was a Panthers fan I would've lost my shit.

My only real beef with him about the game. If you are willing to stay and talk to the press after a big win, you need to do the same after a big loss. Hopefully it is something he will realize and grow from.

Implosion complete on the Newton fumble.
That first challenge was a bullshit call. Other refs were saying it was bad.

After that, Carolina just never tightened up. Tolbert couldn't hold onto the ball. Newton played his worst, i.e. over throwing the ball, poor time management, not jumping on that fumble in the 4th, hold onto the ball too long, running Tolbert up the middle when you need 10 yds. Tolbert =Power. He's good for a few yards. If you want 10, give it to Stewart or pass to Olsen. Norman played well. And let's not get started on all the great plays and good field positions squandered by a Delay of Game, Holding or False Start.

Carolina's Offense beat themselves. The Denver DEFENSE won that game. The Defenses for both teams did their jobs very well. :twocents:

BTW, did you see the way after he fumbled that last time he wouldn't even dive in to try to get the ball? What a prima donna prick.
I saw that too. Game is on the line (likely was their last meaningful possession) and you don't go all out for a loose ball? :ohno:

Masterful performance by the Denver D. We literally saw a defense win a SB tonight. Denver didn't do shit on offense and North Crackalakey kept shooting themselves in the foot. As boring as the game was (and boy did the commercials fucking suck) at least it was close which gave a reason to keep watching.
All of this, :thumb: . That was a crappy SB. Weak offense from both teams, GREAT defenses on both sides. Questionable play calling by Carolina. I'd say the refs screwed up once (the first Challenge) but other than that did a good job. Well, they did miss a pretty obvious hold in the 3rd. And the commercials sucks. Just sucked. Amazon's was my favorite.

Not even close. Denver will have more endurance.

Broncos 31
Panthers 2

(No, that's not a typo. The Broncos D will keep Newton bottled up, and Manning will take an intentional near the end.)

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

I was also happy to see Cam get crushed. Never liked Elway either...that ridiculous cover shot of him...punk. But I guess he was secretly Black.

Cam was/is a showboat. A prick. Win with class and lose with class...Cam does neither. The little boy (yes, any showboat, black, white, even out little yellow friends, turns into a little crybaby boy when they lose) was all sad  and left the presser early. Where was all the showboating for the cameras? Cry baby. Fvck him...happy he lost...even happier that he was the clown who was most responsible for his teams loss.

And yeah, not going for the fumble...classic pretty boy move.

What is your mental image of Manning and Newton on the sidelines when their respective defenses are on the field?
(didn't want to start a new thread on this).
I know what mine is, but wondering what images others have.

That was an awesome Super Bowl. :thumb:

The offenses weren't weak...what you saw was simply what happens when a good offense meets a great defense.

The Super Bowl (and the FCS championship) always gives the advantage to the defense against a complicated offense...you are given an extra week to prepare. That always helps a defense against a more complicated offense.

Both defenses were playing very well...several good offensive plays were broken up by great defensive plays. It is silly to say that the offenses played poorly...those were two great defenses out there.

Game wasn't over until the end. Great game.

The only odd part was that the Carolina Panthers gave up at the end when faced with crunch time. Cam gave up...he was a beaten man. :thumb:

There are a few times in life when you are able to peek in on a person's true character. For some, it's when they had too much to drink. For just about all, it's when they're forced to react to an instant crisis.

Cam's split second reaction to that fumble, his own fuck up, was worth a thousand words.

But I don't showboat after I win...never have; never will. Results do that talking...everything else is all about selfishness and ego. I give all the credit to my crew and staff.

Hey, where are the cameras, bring them over here...LOOK AT ME! Ha-Ha, I'm talking to you...watch what I do!
