The Clinton campaign is at defcon 3 right now. Bernie will probably do OK in Nevada, and Clinton will probably take SC due to the black population. I haven't really paid much attention to Bernie, but you have to admire his ability to even be competitive as an anti-establishment candidate against the Clinton machine.

Whoever wins the most caucus and primary delegates will likely win the nomination. I can't imagine the democrats would allow super delegates to overturn the popularly elected nomination and give the nomination to the loser of the most primary/convention delegates (and popular vote to boot) because of the massive uproar and controversy it would cause. I mean could you imagine if Sanders won the most pledged delegates (and likely popular vote) and they gave the nomination to Hillary anyway? I actually would love to see that.∞∞∞ wrote:Hillary will win this thing. The only way Sanders can get enough delegates is winning the populous states by such large margins that he's able to overcome the massive amount of super-delegate votes Clinton already has. She'll win NY by quite a bit and there's really no large state Bernie has a huge advantage in. I'd be VERY impressed if he could pull this out; the math just isn't there (right now).

"Did Bernie Just Poison Hillary 2016?
Sanders didn’t just win in New Hampshire. He undermined Clinton’s campaign badly.
...The contrast highlights just how much damage Sanders is doing to Clinton’s campaign. Even though he’s still a longshot to snag the nomination, his candidacy is persuading young voters, women, and progressives that Clinton is in the pocket of big banks and corrupt corporations—and it’s persuading Clinton’s own supporters that they’re on the sadder side of this contest.
It remains to be seen, of course, if Sanders will actually be able to pick up any more wins. Current polls indicate that Sanders’s campaign in the other early states will be much trickier than his efforts in New Hampshire. Clinton’s double-digit leads in South Carolina and Nevada might have given a few of his supporters pause....
...And the crowd’s devotion to their candidate highlighted just how much damage his candidacy is doing to Clinton’s—even if she’s the party’s ultimate nominee, which still seems all but guaranteed.
Numerous Sanders supporters flatly stated that they would under no circumstances back Clinton, citing the criticisms of her that Sanders brings up on the stump every day......"

"...during an October 2013 summit in Arizona, while avoiding criticizing the firm for its role in circumstances that led to the Great Recession, Politico reported.
“It was pretty glowing about us,” one person in attendance for the speech told Politico. “It’s so far from what she sounds like as a candidate now. It was like a rah-rah speech. She sounded more like a Goldman Sachs managing director.”
Clinton was paid $225,000 for the speech, according to Politico.
During another speech to Goldman Sachs the same year — this time in New York — Clinton reportedly suggested that more parties were to blame for the financial crisis than just the big U.S. investment banks, people in attendance for the speech said.
“It was mostly basic stuff, small talk, chit-chat,” one person told Politico. “But in this environment, it could be made to look really bad.”

Re: Burn the witch!
"EXCLUSIVE: How the Clintons embraced Wall Street and made $76,000 a DAY by cashing in with speech after speech - but now Hillary wants to fight to 'rein in' the money men
*Hillary and Bill Clinton have taken in a total of $150 MILLION since 2001, when he left office
*In 2015, at the height of their earning power, she and Bill made $27,946,490 in total - $76,565.72 every day
*They made speech after speech to Wall Street big names with 39 appearances for banks and other financial and legal institutions
*She refuses to release transcripts which she ordered to be made of the speeches unless every candidate does the same for all private sector talks
*Hillary spoke to series of other bodies, never for less than six figures, and even got $100,000 for a satellite appearance
*Now she says she wants to 'rein in Wall Street' and get 'secret unaccountable money out of politics'
.....speech fees and from 2001 onward the Clintons earned $7.7 million for at least 39 appearances in front of the likes of UBS and Goldman Sachs - the equivalent of $210,000 a time....
....'She sounded like a Goldman Sachs managing director,' an audience member of a Clinton speech, which made the candidate $225,000, told Politico.
'It would bury her against Sanders,' another attendee of the October 2013 speech in Arizona said....
.....In total the Clintons earned at least $153 million from paid speeches between 2001 and 2015 for a total of 729 appearances.
Hillary earned $21 million from 92 speeches, or $235,000 a time.
Bill earned $132 million from 637 speeches, or $207,000 a time.
Figures show that 2014 was Hillary's most lucrative year and was when she was promoting her memoir: ‘Hard Choices’; she and and her husband earned $27,946,490 in total, or $76,565.72 per day....
....Some of the speeches have already proved controversial even without the transcript being released.
Shortly after taking office as Secretary of State in 2009, she intervened in the investigation of UBS when the IRS was suing to obtain names of Americans who had accounts in its secretive Swiss division.
The highly unusual move led to a deal under which UBS handed over data on just 4,450 accounts out of a total of 52,000 which had been sought.
UBS later booked the Secretary of State for a speech and UBS increased its donations to the Clinton Foundation, the Clintons’ charitable initiative, from $60,000 in 2008 to $600,000 by the end of 2014.....
