Just because you disagree with Obama politically (or with anyone) that doesn't mean they can't have a "deep intellect " or "keen intelligence." In fact, it's pretty damn smug to say Obama or Bush, for example, don't have an intelligence purely because you disagree with their politics.

Just a hunch, but Obama would smoke Bush on Jeopardy, the SAT, an IQ test, etc. Even though I now despise Obama, he does appear to be intelligent, unlike chimp.

I think so too. But to say " X person is unintelligent b/c they are D and I'm an R," is just smug. Obama seems pretty intelligent, but extremely arrogant.

Obama would smoke W reading off a teleprompter. I'm not sure what else.
-I highly doubt Mr 57 states and my uncle liberated Auschwitz would smoke W at Jeopardy
-IQ. I'm sure JSO could come lay out on here in several pages no less how Bush's IQ is in the 120-130 range...Obama, unknown.
-Bush's SAT was 1206. We don't know what Obama's is. Bush doesn't get into Yale if it weren't for his legacy, and Obama may not get into Columbia if it weren't for his black half.

Didn't JSO lay out on here in several pages no less, that W's IQ had to be in the 130 range? If so that would put him in the top 2-5% of the population.

Why would anyone's IQ have to be in a certain range?

As far as Obama, we have no idea of what his measureable intelligence is because none of his test scores have ever been released. As far as Bush

Yeah, that link doesn't look shady at all.

But, since you linked it, the PhD who wrote the book states, "Bush's IQ is below average relative to that subset of the U.S. citizens who also managed to work their way into the White House. In fact, his intellect falls near the bottom of the distribution. When compared with twentieth-century presidents from Theodore Roosevelt through Clinton, only Harding has a lower score (at least on three of the four estimates)."

It surely doesn't. To add to that, when you spend so much time speaking in front of cameras and giving multiple speeches per day, you will make mistakes and you will need prompting.

But, intelligence, to me, isn't being able to recite something you memorized. To me, you are one of two things:

1) Smart: You have knowledge but can't apply it.
2) Intelligent: You have knowledge and can apply it.

I think we all know people that fit into those categories. That's just my opinion.
