Pflugrad may be returning to the state of Montana to coach college football. He is currently a finalist for the head coaching position at NAIA Rocky Mountain College, according to the Billings Gazette.

Shocking, for sure.

Re: Robin Pflugrad update
Any football program would be much better off with Pflugrad as an OC than as a head coach.

Pflugrad Doesn't Get the Job
I can understand why someone wouldn't hire Pflugrad as a head coach, but I'm skeptical that going with a member of the untrustworthy Petrino family is any better.

Actually, Pflugrad withdrew his name on Thursday before a decision was made on Friday. And while this particular Petrino is not a brother to the Bobby and Paul duo (he is a first cousin), there are quite a few in the Rocky Mountain community who are not happy with the hire.Mvemjsunpx wrote:I can understand why someone wouldn't hire Pflugrad as a head coach, but I'm skeptical that going with a member of the untrustworthy Petrino family is any better.![]()

Re: Pflugrad Doesn't Get the Job
Eh… maybe, maybe not. It could be that he "withdrew" his name because he was told he wasn't gonna get it. The fact the hire was made the same day makes that seem relatively likely.JALMOND wrote:Mvemjsunpx wrote:I can understand why someone wouldn't hire Pflugrad as a head coach, but I'm skeptical that going with a member of the untrustworthy Petrino family is any better.![]()
