That's true, depending how you're looking at the stats. The fact they're last in shooting % D is somewhat misleading because they just don't focus on the same priorities other teams do. Their 3-pointers-made stat is also somewhat misleading because they don't rank good in percentage at all.
Well he wouldn't shut up about fouling MSU before they could get a desperation heave off in the final seconds. Whoever said, "hey, you know what? Cravens would make a great court side analyst for the BSCT" deserves to get fired. Jesus just awful.
I'm guessing he was constantly hanging around the league offices in Ogden and they give him the color job just so he'd go away. ;)

Eastern easily beats NAU in the only game of the day that wasn't competitive. Scoring just 52 points against EWU's defense is pathetic, frankly.

NAU had a decent showing in the 1st. They didn't have Yanku (too much fun with the cheap hookers and blow?) and I was impressed in how they out hustled EWU early. Then the 2nd half happened...and...yeah.

I guess we won't hear too much complaining from Griz fans about the seeding format now.

Some other tweets (and Murphy, apparently) have dialed back the "kicked off the team" line a little. He's still on the roster and may still play for the 'Jacks next year. I was amused that Jack Murphy said Yanku lets "his emotions get the best of him."

What I'm reading online suggests he probably told off the coach. That's my guess.

I have to give the BSC credit with the roadtoreno website. It sure makes it easy to watch the games. No fighting with the watch big sky tv website, also has all the games and schedules listed. I'm interested to see how they have things on the ground when I get up there Thursday.

Montana up 36-21 at half. The Montana defense is looking great but the offense started slow. Only one turnover is helping, though.

Sac looks totally flustered right now. If the Griz could hit some threes it would be a massacre.

Griz win by 17. It was in the teens the whole second half. Breunig had a double-double early in the second, I believe, and I thought Krslovic had his best game in quite a while.

Vandals survive & win by the same margin.

This sets up a possible nightmare scenario for the top seeds. Weber turned it over a bunch against PSU and faces the other good takeaway team in NoDak while Montana takes on an Idaho team that is now at full strength & has already shown they can contain Breunig.

You serious?
Compared to what I saw from the webcasts of the other Tuesday games, yes.

Here was yesterday's game, I thought we would have had a better turnout but a big storm hit the summit yesterday that will last through the weekend (my Sunday bus trip to Sac was cancelled so I have to find another way to get out of Reno).

Griz D was excellent yesterday. Griz doubled down on the blocks, Hornets would kick it out and find the open 3 but couldn't make many of them. Tough shooting night for the Hornets, Griz went cold later in the 2nd half but we couldn't take advantage to climb back into it. Breunig was a total beast as well.
