All Cruz and most Republicans in the South (for that matter)
are doing is just riding that horse in the direction it's already going...

I'm not the crazy one here... It's your party Baldy you tell me why..?

:coffee:

Obviously you're convinced, but repeating yourself doesn't make it true.

Nice observation from 3,000 miles away, but I've been around these Churchers forever. I remember daily devotionals from the bible being read over the intercom (this was back in the 80's). Do you think that still happens? :? I remember capital punishment (you know, spare the rod...). Do you think that still happens? :?

By all means, please entertain us some more with your vast knowledge of the fundamentalist takeover of the south.
Thank you...

You act as though
1) I'm not familiar with the south
2) That I don't enjoy the South (because I do)
3) That there is no evidence supporting the backwards legislation being drafted as we speak

I bothers you because I'm pointing towards the truth

Going to have to go with Baldy here.

Fundamentalist religious types are dwindling not increasing

the few who are left are just getting louder

plus we have the internet which brings every nut right into our homes - people we never would have heard of 20 years ago

1. That's nice, but you don't know the south.
2. What's not to enjoy? Great weather, hot women, and delicious food.
3. If there were evidence, I'm sure you would have linked it by now.

You're not pointing at anything. You're just tilting at windmills.

Oh and...

4. What CID said.

You're entitled to your opinion (no matter how wrong or cute it is), but please explain to me how in the hell Cruz (your words) is going to turn the south into some sort of theocracy? :?

:dunce:

I don't really care about anyone else, but Cruz finished 3rd in Georgia. I'm just dying to know how the guy who finished 3rd in the Conk primary in GA is going to turn the "bulk" of the south into "Iran West". :silly:

Yet Cruz has only won, one "Southern" state.

And I use quotations because most southerners don't consider Texas or Florida to be, "southern." The Florida panhandle, yes. But definitely not the southern half of the state.

Baldy, Sometimes people just disagree
I do know the south both from having lived in the South and from working the south for a decade
and I know it hurts you and CID's feelings when people make comments slighting anything southern
You are obviously very defensive about the whole thing...

Jeezus Clitz, if I were "very defensive" about every slight made against the South from the less than knowledgeable, I would have stroked out years ago. The only time I get defensive is when someone makes ignorant broad sweeping opinionated generalizations they can't back up with facts.

Oh...an abortion graph? :wtf:

It doesn't hurt my feelings at all

it just reminds me that even smartypants like you have your "Obama is a muslim" irrational sky is falling hang ups over things that just aren't so

unless you're NOT trying to say that the south is a theocracy or that Ted Cruz could make the whole country into one - in which case nevermind

I'm glad to have both of your attention now.... Thank you
It's good that we could all come together here today and discuss this

Frankly I have no idea what Ted Cruz is up to...
but I won't miss this opportunity to chide
and: He's an illegal :ohno: with a fake birth certificate

Regardless of that fact
I think it's important to understand that Ted Cruz thinks God is not done judging America
((so beware!!! I'm looking at you Baldy))
and we are on the cusp of the end days if he doesn't get elected... saying that originally God blessed America from the beginning and "I believe God isn’t done with America yet."

Mostly I don't really care other than to f*ck with you guys...
and: There is just as much evidence that Ted Cruz is the Anti-Christ as there is that he's American

I'm pretty sure he's the Anti-Christ
