But we can't eradicate this enemy. They aren't conventional. The best we can hope for, IMO, is to deal such a blow that their ability and desire to wage war would be greatly diminished. A significant blow to ISIS could discourage followers for the time being but we can't eradicate the threat. It's not like eradicating the Nazis or the Fascists in Italy.
