I didn't say that. I just took a shot at two methods those men used to murder thousands. That didn't defeat the idea of jihad against the West. The WTC bombing in 1993 was less than 2 years after the 1991 uprising against Saddam. Then the various embassy bombings in the mid-late 90s, the USS Cole, 9/11, etc..

So again, how was the idea defeated? You said they were. Prove it.
