Naw the genie is already out of the bottle. No POTUS, especially the ones currently leading in the primary, have any interest in reducing their power.

Does anyone ever voluntarily give up power?

Unions won a major victory yesterday as the SC had a 4-4 vote which left alone a lower court ruling where unions can continue to force non-members to contribute $$. With Scalia still alive this was DOA & would've been a 5-4 vote. Without a win in November the GOP will not have Supreme Court wins in a long, long time.
