The irony of it all is that these are the same tough and tolerant "progressives" who whine for safe spaces to shelter them from micro aggressions like the 1st amendment or free market economics, as well as, calling for grief counselors for having to suffer the horrible fate of witnessing the harmful and dangerous scratchings of "Trump 2016" drawn in chalk on the sidewalk. :?

You insensitive pig! There is a difference between being homophobic and being a gay bashing bigot. I support LGBT rights and don't care who is in the stall or urinal next to me but some people are bothered by it and their feelings and perspective matter as much as any person's. Don't ask someone to respect a particular perspective if you aren't also willing to respect theirs. To do otherwise is just a modern version of the arrogant, my opinion is the righteous one so I can look down upon and denigrate those who disagree with me approach that has been used by the intolerant for millennia. Isn't it ironic that I can honestly make that criticism of so called progressives? A true progressive is truly open-minded and considers other perspectives and angles whether they agree with them or not. If the homophobic conks need to toughen up then so does everyone else.

And for the record, those students at Emory are intolerant weenies. If there is a Young Republican on campus, could they make the same complaint about someone writing "Feel the Bern 2016" on the sidewalk and be taken just as seriously? I was pretty liberal in college and I loved the debates I used to have with my conservative friends. They helped inform and improve my opinions and made me a smarter and better citizen. That's part of why I like this board, different opinions and not as much of the zombie-like group think you get in other places.
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Jon, I can understand that bathroom choice is a cause for concern for individuals that identify with a different gender and have no problem being sensitive to those concerns. The problem is that I also find it ironic that so called progressives like to label and belittle people who express any opposition to such attempts. While some of the opponents might be bigots do you believe that all of them are? IMO these "progressives" are being hypocrites by ignoring the possibility that some people might be uncomfortable sharing a bathroom with such individuals. Are they simply bigots whose feelings and comfort don't matter? Is it ok to marginalize one group of individuals in order to advocate for another? Can't we search for a solution that recognizes the comfort and concerns of everyone?

which is the exact thing that makes liberals such huge hypocrites, "it's none of your business what they do with their bodies, but it's also everyone's business what they do with their bodies."

The ONLY complaints are going to come from women. That's a given. But the left doesn't want to acknowledge that because they're "fighting so hard for women's rights". :coffee:

But hey, let's make more jokes about how men have a problem pissing next to a transgender...oh wait they don't have the same parts...so that's a nonstarter.

Two weeks ago, PayPal announced plans to open a new global operations center in Charlotte and employ over 400 people in skilled jobs. In the short time since then, legislation has been abruptly enacted by the State of North Carolina that invalidates protections of the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender citizens and denies these members of our community equal rights under the law.

The new law perpetuates discrimination and it violates the values and principles that are at the core of PayPal’s mission and culture. As a result, PayPal will not move forward with our planned expansion into Charlotte.

As is their right to do so, capitalism wins again

But now the question is where do they go for their "global operations center" now?

Saudi or maybe Dubai. However, considering how the gays are treated in the Middle East, I'm sure PayPal doesn't even accept business from them...moral grounds and all that. :suspicious:

This is what I find funny about so-called Liberals. They say they are for everyone's right to be treated equally, but when the rubber hits the road, they really don't give a shlt about anyone, and will deny people's rights as long as they get what they want.

dback pretends to want to treat people equally. He then calls Milk his hero. But, ooops, Milk raped a minor.

Butt, that's OK in Jon's book, because gay people can't be held accountable for their lustful actions.

Jon considers Hillary another one of his heroes. Well, she takes money from, and hires people who, cover up the rape, torture, and killing of innocent third world mothers, children, gays, and transgendered people.

Dumb $$ losing move for XHamster. All XHamster is going to do is lose whatever % of their revenue they derive from NC users (NC about 9.5 million people/about 3% of US population), who will simply go to one of the other enormous # of porn websites out there.
