University of North Dakota professor vows to call 911 on every ‘inappropriate’ ROTC drill
The Washington Times ^ | March 23, 2016 | Jessica Chasmar

An associate professor at the University of North Dakota called the police on two ROTC students carrying replica rifles on campus, saying the group's practice drills are "highly inappropriate" and "irresponsible" in light of recent school shootings.

In a letter Sunday to the Grand Forks Herald, Heidi Czerwiec described the panic she felt when she looked up from her office computer to see "two figures in camo with guns" outside her window.
"My first thought is for my students' and my safety: I grab my phone, crawl under my desk and call 911," she wrote.

The threat, however, was two ROTC students carrying guns on their way to a routine training exercise, Campus Reform reported.

"I can barely talk -- first, with fear, and then with rage when the dispatcher reports back that yes, in fact, I've probably just seen ROTC cadets, though they're going to send an officer to check because no one has cleared it with them," Ms. Czerwiec wrote.

She said a university officer called her back a few minutes later to inform her that ROTC would be doing the exercises for the next couple of weeks....

I hate to bust a couple of myths on ya, but I live in uber conservative Eastern Washington. One of my friend's parents are hippies. The father was a retired AF survival instructor who helped his wife with her insurance agency. They don't own a TV, camp in the mountains of NE Washington every month - even in the winter, attend the annual Shakespeare Festival in Medford, and are two of the best and most compassionate people I know.

I have another friend who has owned a furniture store, worked for me for a few years, and is considering a weed growing operation on his property where he's already started growing grapes and organic vegetables. Politically, he makes me and Chizzy look like BDK and AZgrizfan. His wife is a total hippie who owns her own massage and beauty studio.

Self reliant
Disconnected from the system
Highly ethical.

Check!

So there are at least 4 in a million.

Developed later in life, like his stance on gun violence.

Maybe they noticed that they don;t have to have an abortion if they don't want one
and guns are at Sears and Wal-Mart
and nobody has stopped them from getting married

I'm pretty happy that the training these professors have been giving is coming back around to bite them.

Cal Poly Looks To Mandate “Cultural Awareness Training”….

Via Campus Reform:

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo has taken another step toward implementing student diversity demands, releasing an updated plan that includes mandatory cultural sensitivity training and new diversity-related curriculum requirements.

The new “Diversity and Inclusivity Action Plan” comes amid intensifying criticism from SLO Solidarity, a student activist group that issued a 41-point ultimatum in November demanding action on a wide variety of diversity initiatives.

In March, SLO Solidarity wrote an open letter to Mustang News criticizing the university for moving too slowly on its demands.

Here are the 41 demands by the University trained students

Everyone has at least small areas where they might contradict their general ideology. Not everyone in business is a conk, Cluckner. It's a nice mythology but simply not true. The PNW is full of profit making hippies.
I met another hippie business owner yesterday. Took the boys bikes in for a tune up to this little neighborhood shop. The owner has a crow named Socrates that he rescued after it fell out of the nest and was abandoned as a fledgling. Turns out, crows are amazing animals and smarter than half the peeps on this message board. He wears Birkenstocks, and tends to his garden while keeping an eye on the store.

Anyhoo, I asked him how business was and he casually threw a couple of political points into the conversation as he was working on the bikes. He owns the shop and his wife is a teacher and a real estate agent. Towards the end he asked if it was safe to assume I was a lefty. I said absolutely but if it came down to Hillary vs. Trump, I would probably vote for Trump.

His eyes narrowed and he jokingly (at least I think) said you can leave now.

Gawdamm hippie businessmen are everywhere!
