**** anyone that supports these bigoted piece of shits.
That's the sad thing. The whole "anti discrimination law" paradigm is all about attacking liberty and it always has been. But we somehow evolved into a culture wherein the prevalent view is that there is NOTHING more important than preventing discrimination. Not Liberty. Not the Free Exercise of Religion. Not anything.
And so somebody's "right" to force someone else to make a wedding cake for them is somehow more important than someone's right to live according to their religious beliefs. The world has turned bass akwards.

And Hillary supports the Muslin leaders, and takes money from those, that openly support killing fags. She also supports those wonderful central American, wealthy, mainly Catholic, oligarchs that toss out elected officials, and then Hillary makes sure the US continues to supply weapons to those fvkctards, so that they can continue to kill fags and transgendered people. Yet you continue to not attack Hillary...your lying sack-o-shlt hero. All the while you still refuse to condemn your other hero, Milk, who raped an underage boy.dbackjon wrote:Where do you see me calling for the extermination of real Christians? You're worse than Travis. He loved the Queen of England, and all the pageantry, despite the fact that the Royal family didn't give a rat's arse about gays.
Say, are you one of those gay guys who insists on keeping a goal-setting, lying, almost macho, straight, female friend around who you know is laughing at you behind your back while telling you she supports you?

See underline. Therein lies the problem. Somehow we have developed the idea in this country that one has a right to force someone else to deal with them. A right is something you have that no one should be able to take away. If someone else has to give it to you, it's not a truly a right. You have a right to have a homosexual relationship. You do NOT have a right to force other people to accept you. You have the power because government has come in as the heavy to compel it. But it's not really a right. It's an intrusion.JSO - you really live in bizzaro world, don't you.
You are defending the "freedom" to discriminate against those you don't like.
newsflash - in the United States, once you enter the public realm by opening a business, you forfeit the right to discriminate. It is sad that there are mutherfucking racists and bigots like you outthere that think that is acceptable behavior.
Once CHOICE of a religion does not supercede my rights. **** ANYONE THAT THINKS THAT.
And that whole "public realm" thing is just an excuse. One thing that IS a right is the right to engage in commerce on either side of a transaction. When government says you can't discriminate and decide upon who you will and will not do business with government is taking what should be an intrinsic right away. It is an incredible intrusion upon liberty. Any person should have a right to decide for themselves who they will and will not buy from or sell to and they should not have to account to government as to their reasons for deciding who they will deal with.
This thing of thinking one is entitled to force someone else to engage in commerce with them is horrible. It's a very significant attack upon the right of people to make decisions about their own lives.

The government FORCES a business person to do business with others. That is odd, especially considering how our country was supposedly formed upon a notion of freedom from excessive government control.
Frankly, I would not care if someone did not want to do business with me. That's his/her choice. But, I would have the choice regarding how I would react. If I didn't like the treatment, I'd engage my friends and neighbors to not do business with the place. In the end, the business would sink or swim based upon how customer's felt about the business and its decisions.
That's ultimately how things should be.
As an offshoot, in the opposite direction, although it is illegal for businesses to discriminate, many public entities (states, cities, etc.) now reserve some portion of their contracts to certain groups (low income, race, etc.).
So, the government is saying YOU can't discriminate, but THEY can.
Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.

It is a natural right and it is part of the right to liberty described in the Declaration of Independence. As I've written before, the Declaration of Independence contains the principles underlying the founding of the nation. The Constitution is the set of operating procedures. It also contains NOTHING that justifies the idea that people in private industry on the selling side of transactions should be forced by government to deal with people they don't want to deal with.Where does it say you have a right to engage in commerce?
Now, from where do you derive the "right" of one person to force another person to to deal with them? What's your reference for that?

No Bible passage is necessary. It's not up to me or you to define someone else's religious belief. A person who is a Christian should not be required by government to cite a Bible passage in order to live according to their religious beliefs.Still waiting on that Bible passage.
Again: The idea of the free exercise of religion is supposed to be one of the prime principles of this country. The idea that homosexuals should be able to force people to accept their lifestyles is not.

Why are you not offended by those obviously racist organizations and businesses?
The premise is the same. They want to serve only a particular race. If you are White, you are not welcome to participate at the Black Miss America event.
Why is that OK?

JSO was talking about being FORCED to offer their business services to everyone. So a gay person can FORCE a business to make the gay person a cake, but a White person can't FORCE the Black business to allow the White person to enter their contest (which is a business)?
And in your club example...so a business can discriminate based upon gender...but not race? That is OK?
