Newspaper Runs Ad Calling for Obama's Assassination

Post by AZGrizFan »

http://www.azcentral.com/offbeat/articl ... 29-ON.html
the ad appeared Thursday. It read, "May Obama follow in the steps of Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy!" The four presidents were all assassinated.

Elchert tells The Associated Press that the newspaper's advertising staff didn't make the historical connection.
Those journalists....they're RIGHT ON TOP of it, aren't they?

Was the ad placed from a free speech zone?

They're called "QI'ers"...

...receive Quarterly Interviews (visits) by folks from the Secret Service...

...actually is pretty tough to make the list, but once on...you can't take a crap without Uncle Sam knowing what you ate that day...where you ate it...and if you liked it.

Amazing that the newspaper's editors (if there are any) didn't catch this...very, VERY shameful.

Tis a shame one can't voice one's opinion anymore without the threat of the government hanging over one's shoulder. Sad.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

I don't know why it is surprising that journalists are idiots.

Just think back to all the journalism majors you knew in college and then ask yourself how it is that people can come to rely on these clowns for information. It's like asking a dumb cheerleader to help you with your calculus homework.

And it is the same thing in this situation. The Secret Service is looking into who made the threat, and will subsequently be "laying their ass out".

C-man - even from the earliest days of our constitution, it has been recognized that there are limits to free speech. Libel, for example.

What you seem to be advocating is more akin to anarchy.

So are threatened by someone who is smarter and better read than you?

And who is stalking who? I got this phone call from this crazy, insane drunk the other night. Police have traced the call to a cell phone registered to some guy named "Jeff" and the call was made from Madison, WI. :ugeek:

I'm going to need to change my number.
