I've noticed a larger and growing rebellion against Progressive ideas, the pendulum is starting to swing back in the other direction.

Trump is going to surprise a lot of people over the next six months, even more than he has in the last year.

The funniest thing about Trump over Clinton is that he seems genuine. He really believes in "making America great again".

One thing people don't truly understand is that they want to say that Trump is only worried about his wallet...WGAS if he is, he's in the tourist and travel industry, that's a major part of his business empire. That entire industry is dependent on Americans discretionary income, which is dependent on more Americans having more money, WHICH is dependent on more Americans having good paying jobs. A strong America with excellent infrastructure investments, numerous manufacturing and production jobs, making America a net exporter to the world once again. These are ALL great things. Who gives a flying fuck that they will help Trump's wallet in the process???

You guys need to come to grips with the fact that Trump is more dishonest than either Clinton is. I realize that's saying a lot. But it's the truth. The dishonestly level displayed by Donald Trump is unprecedented.

Some good news though: Another thing that's unprecedented is opposition within the Republican Party to its own nominee. It's not quite to the level I'd like to see. But there's no question that Trump has more opposition within his own Party that any candidate in the modern era has had.

Also interesting to see the "third party" thing. I'm watching Republicans on TV right now taking the position that the Presidential election is now a disaster but fielding a third Party candidate might help stop the bleeding in the Congressional elections.

Do it. Give principled conservatives someone they can in good conscience vote for.d

Besides, if I have to TRY to determine where Trump is on stuff like forcing bakers to make wedding cakes for homosexuals I'd have to say he's for forcing them to make the cakes.

In any case there are more important things. Trump is completely unacceptable. He's mentally ill. He's an asshole. He at least SAYS he wants to do stuff like impose a bunch of tariffs on foreign trade. One would have to be insane to support putting him in the White House.

I don't think Trump's schtick will work in general election debates. I also think there is a problem with primary debates in that they do that thing where they position people on the stage based on their polling. I think that biases the process. Another bias is the difficulty in giving a whole bunch of candidates "equal" time. I think that, when there are only two candidates on the stage, it's a totally different dynamic.
