I don't. You guys sitting around criticizing the fashion choices of others while trying to be under Herero is comical. And laughable.

Great game last night in Oaktown. The West Finals could be a classic.

Towns, Wiggins, Lavine and Rubio...need a true center and a few veteran pieces and this is a playoff team.

Local media is pointing to a shooter Buddy Hield or Jamal Murray, else a defender per coach Tibs philosophy, Kris Dunn.

I doubt Hield will be there. The Wolves do need a shooter pretty badly too. I believe they were one of the worst shooting teams in the NBA.

I think they trade out, grab a veteran worth a damn and move some of the dead weight veterans they have now.

KG has to restructure or do something with that albatross of a contract

Been hearing Mddleton and Butler's names for Rubio. The Knicks also want Rubio, but don't have anything to trade.

Priorities for the Heat this offseason.

1) convince Bosh to either retire or file for amnesty for his contract

2) resign Whiteside

3) Convince a marquee free agent to be the future of a championship contending franchise

4) Resign Wade using Bird rights

Butler would be great. Is Lavine willing to go back to the bench? Will be interesting to see who Thibs and the guy from San Antonio bring in.

Golden State team is too much for Lebron again. Per game 1, Looks like Iving and Love don't add enough offense to make up for their lack of defense.

Agree, Golden State had easy basket after easy basket. You give a team that many open looks, and many of them coming really close to the rim, and they'll beat you all day even with the Splash Brothers having an off night shooting.

As for Lebron, he's clearly a great player and one of the 10 best, likely, of all time. But when Andre Iguodala, who granted is a pretty good defender, is your kryptonite, then you lose a little ground in discussion of your greatness. And besides, I can't stand him giving up shots so that he can "facilitate" for his teammates. He passed off a shot with 1 second on the shot clock last night and they turned it over on a clock violation as a result. He's not a terrible shooter, granted no MJ or Kobe, but shoot the darn ball.

Boy, we're seeing the Eastern Conference is not very good at all. Kevin Love & Tristan Thompson?? Cahnning Frye? The Cavs are terrible. Take LeBron out of there & how many games do they win?

Hence why the Sixers could be much better really soon. The East may not be as bad as they were several years ago, but it's still a far cry from the best the West can put up. Pretty sure the Cavs wouldn't have made the Western Conference Finals this year.

I don't know if it'll happen, but the NBA would be the place it would happen now that Silver is in charge, I'd love to see divisions/conferences go away and go to the 5 pod system

Image
1. You would play the two teams in your hub five times each. These hubs are denoted by the vertical lines in the map above. Most are extremely tight geographically, with a couple unavoidable exceptions. This is 10 games.

2. You would play the other three teams in your region four times each. This is 12 games, for a running total of 22.

3. You would play teams from two other regions three times each. This is 36 games, for a running total of 58.

4. You would play teams from the remaining two regions twice each. This is 24 games, for a running total of 82.

What two regions would you face thrice a year? That would rotate annually, much as the NFL handles interconference play. In Year 1, the teams of the Pacific would theoretically face the teams of the Lakes and Big West regions three times each and the teams of the Atlantic and Southeast regions twice each. In Year 2, the Pacific teams would face the Big West and Southeast thrice each and the Lakes and Atlantic twice each. In Year 3, they'd face the Southeast and Atlantic thrice each and the Lakes and Big West twice each. In Year 4, they'd face the Atlantic and Lakes thrice each and the Southeast and Big West twice each. And the cycle repeats.
Much more detail about the plan here

It's worth looking at.

Cavs finish no better than 4th (maybe as low as 6th) in the west.

Warriors
Thunder
Spurs
Clippers
Trail Blazers
Cavs

Lebron's reputation just drops a little more with that incident. Steps over a guy and rubs his stuff on the back of Green's head and he's shocked the guy would swing at him. Sure, Green has the bad reputation from prior incidents, and he shouldn't have swung at Lebron, but Lebron comes off looking like a punk for goading him in that way. He'll look like even more of a punk if they get eliminated tonight without Green even playing.

It looked to me like Green flopped and then Lebron stepped over him to stay in the play. Green has absolutely no room to complain about how people play against him. Don't dish it out if you can't take it. And if he doesn't want Lebron to rub his junk on his head than don't flop on the floor like an Italian soccer player.
