I don't really think the gay part of this means a damn thing. This is islam vs America. We are tolerant and free and they hate the fact that we have a society that can be that comfortable with all different kinds of people.

From all descriptions of the suspect so far, he's a known mentally-ill person that succumb to religious extremism and got hands on guns. A lot of things went wrong here, some out of anyone's control, that added up to a horrendous outcome. I hope all the victims rest in peace.

Yeah, but islam is not "basically peaceful". The quran specifically instructs muslims to convert or kill all non-muslims. It couldn't be spelled out any more clearly in the text and the resulting actions of its followers. Ask the Yazidis how peaceful islam is in 2016.
