Well, you stupid POTUS candidate is out there spouting that gun control is the answer. Has she ever been right on anything??
She's not really MY candidate. If you'd have told me a year ago that at this point I'd be saying Hillary is the best alternative available I'd have said you were completely nuts. But that's the situation we find ourselves in.

BTW, her speech today was a lot better than Trump's was in terms of describing relatively specific suggestions for reducing the risk of what happened. Not that I agree with all of them.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

JohnStOnge wrote:If I'd seen this thread first I'd have just posted this here and not in the other thread. But I'll post it here too since it's relevant to the topic:

Neither of the two mass killing events that resulted in the most deaths in the history of the United States involved guns. #2 involved fertilizer and diesel fuel and #1 involved box cutters.

The weapon of choice is not the problem.

If someone wants to create a mass casualty event they are going to come up with a way to do it. Gun control laws will not stop them.
Great post, for a Hillary Clinton fan.

Didn't Obama blame American people and the guns instead of the Muslims?

Great job Donks!!! You really saved a bunch of lives when you brought your ISLAMIC radicals to town.

You got exactly what you wanted!!!

Great post, for a Hillary Clinton fan.
Anybody who has seen me post over the years knows I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton in particular or the Democratic Party in general. In fact they know I absolutely despise the Democratic Party.

But the Republican primary process put forward someone that is SO unacceptable in this case that I have no choice but to support the nominee of the Party I have despised for all these years. As of as late as about a year ago I never in my wildest dreams would have thought something like this could happen. But it did. A sufficient proportion of the Republican primary electorate went brain dead so as to allow this to happen.

If you are contemplating voting for Trump I would say you do not understand. You don't grasp how bad a decision that would be.

Its no worse than the idiot in office now, not even close, this clown has taken this country apart and divided it unlike any time in our history. Now the left should have to deal with that for 4-8 years.

Whether that is true or not is unknown. In any case it is recreational time. And Donald Trump as President would be an absolute disaster for the United States. So there is no down side to at least attempting to convince people to avoid doing anything to increase the probability of the disaster being realized.

It IS worse. Believe me when I say that I never would've thought anything could be worse before we got into this situation. But it is. What you're talking about is along the lines of putting an 8th grader into the President's chair. Trump as President would indeed be worse than Obama as President.

Obama is, at least. a grown up.

My take not worth a lot. I have an understanding of why you would vote Hillary over trump. But with the positions you have taken in the past. I would simply keep my fingers off the keyboard :?

It's True. We could start a poll. You don't get that this election will shape the Supreme Court.

Why do you not understand that?
