The long winded rants are because, like most of your ilk, you never bother to respond to facts. Hillary's action have killed FAR more gays than Trump's words. FACT.
Not a single homosexual has been killed by Hillary's actions. You could argue that US government's action when Hillary was a Senator and/or Secretary of State might have contributed to an atmosphere in which homosexuals were killed in Muslim countries. But that's just an opinion. There's no way to know what would've happened if the US government, which has maintained relationships with countries like Saudi Arabia under all of the Republican and Democratic Presidential Administrations of my lifetime, had at some point in the past said they would not deal with such countries or whatever unless they started treating homosexuals better. Personally, my bet would be it would've made no difference at all.

Meanwhile comparing what has happened while HIllary was in government to what Trump has done while NOT in government is pointless. Trump has never been there. But he's shown NO aversion at all to dealing with Muslim countries in his business ventures. There is absolutely no reason to believe that he's going to get into office then tell Saudi Arabia it's going to have to treat homosexuals better.
An opinion?

Hmmm...by your logic, not a single German was killed by Roosevelt's Lend Lease program.

YOU. HAVE. GOT. TO. BE. KIDDING. ME.

You can't be that dumb, can you, JSO?

Actually, maybe you can.

During your lifetime, and well before, and it will be this way well after you are gone, the United State of America has, indeed, influenced the behavior of MANY countries' governments towards their citizens. Yup.

You don't actually read about our history, do you? Don't worry, you are similar to most dumb (ooops, I'll use the word ignorant) Americans.

Why don't you pick up a history book before you make such silly comments. You'll find a wide selection of times when the US, and their choice of policies, had altered other people's behavior, either by force or coercion.

If the US was serious about human rights violations, we'd have withheld arms to any of the oppressive regimes we support. Perhaps you've heard of a country called Egypt?

And Hillary? Removing the secular government controls in Syria has absolutely resulted in the deaths of gays. If you deny that, you are just an ignorant back wood's troll. That isn't guess work...that is a fact. ISIS doesn't play fair.

But hey, now you are down to splitting hairs. Hillary didn't pull the trigger, she simply CHOSE to provide the triggers to the people doing the killing. In most cases where people die...Hillary, who willingly supplied the murder weapons, fully knowing the intent of the buyer (in fact, having the world openly condemn the human rights record of the buyer), would be charged as an accessory to murder.

But, in JOS's world, Hillary is an innocent lamb.

I will say this: As far as I can tell, Trump and Clinton appear to be philosophically similar when it comes to the issue of homosexuality. They both appear to adopt what might be described as the "politically correct" stance based on the received wisdom. Don't see a whole lot of difference between the two.

The problem for Trump is that he's going to be the Republican nominee. He's not going to win over any Democrats by being favorable to the homosexual agenda. But he could very well lose some Republicans.

Of course he's got lots bigger problems in that he's totally unqualified and comes off as having the emotional stability and maturity of a middle school kid. I know I've said that a lot but I say it a lot because it's very true. It's unbelievable that Republican primary voters put a looney tune like that into this position. One of the stupidest mass psychology phenomenae I've ever seen.

Ahh...another deflection. You jumped on an issue that you said Trump would lie about...making it a measurement of Trump's character...and then, when confronted by the FACT that Hillary repeatedly already lied about her stance on the issue, you went back to the idea that you believe they are both philosophically the smae on the issue. :suspicious:

And then you go back to the whole idea that Trump is just a bad guy who says bad things...unlike your totally scripted lying sack of shlt Hillary.

John, YOU are acting like the child. Look at what you wrote...you covered up for your mistake with some silly, "my mom is better than your dad" theme.

Wow...you used to use facts...now you hide behind specious arguments that are so easily dismantled that you embarrass yourself by trying to cover up for them later.

Sad. But, I have to laugh.

You, dback, and Trip...ignoring logic and following emotions.

You know the funniest part? Instead of actually looking at, and taking responsibility for, your behavior, you are blaming it on someone else's words and actions. You are the personification of those people who you railed against for years.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh...Trump is a big meanie who the media has convinced me says bad things. Therefore, I can ignore logic and throw a hissy fit.

You belong in Ferguson, blaming a big bad White guy for your support of a known criminal.

Not at all. I still say Trump would lie about this issue or any other one in a heartbeat if he sees it as being to his advantage at the time.

I'm just saying that on this particular issue there isn't much of a difference between the two. And I'm saying that works to HIllary's advantage because Hillary is a Democrat and Trump is a Republican. Few if any people are going to switch to Trump when they otherwise would've voted for Hillary because Trump is relatively favorable to the homosexual cause. Few if any are going to switch to Hillary from Trump because of that either. But there is definitely more potential for Trump losing some enthusiasm among Republican voters because he's perceived as favoring the homosexual cause than there is for Hillary losing enthusiasm among Democrat voters because she's perceived as such.

The problem you have with stuff like that is that Trump does business with such countries as well. For example:

https://mic.com/articles/130070/here-ar ... .qA5WVb8NY

It's like I said: On the homosexual agenda issue there's not a lot of difference.

BTW as I Google I can see where this stuff is coming from. You guys really need to stop believing Trumpite propaganda. The guy really is a pathological liar and you can extend that characteristic to his entire campaign.

And what you don't get is that politicians like Clinton or, from your neck of the woods, David Vitter are also pathological liars. They may be less brazen, but they are pathological liars all the same who extend that characteristic to their entire campaign.

Trump is the ultimate politician and you are as silly as all the freaked out dems for taking him so seriously.

I think that when you have a nut like Trump seriously contending for the Presidency it's a good idea to take the situation seriously.

And Hillary is not a nut to that extent. As much as I dislike her and as much as I would've said a year ago that I'd NEVER want to see her elected she is not THAT bad. She is now. thanks to the insane behavior of the Republican Primary electorate, the lesser of two evils.

Yes it's an opinion. None of us know what the effects would have been if different decisions had been made in US foreign policy on countless issues. We have opinions about what would've happened if things had been done differently.

Also, I think it's interesting that in one paragraph you appear to be saying we should do stuff to discourage oppressive regimes then in the next paragraph basically say whoever was involved in a decision resulting in "removing secular government controls in Syria" is responsible for the deaths of homosexuals.

No, Syria isn't wasn't one of the oppressive regimes we supported. But it's an oppressive regime. So which is it that you want? Do you want us to take the position of supporting oppressive regimes because more homosexuals will be killed if we don't? Or do you want us to try to make sure oppressive regimes to stay in power because if they lose power the outcome will be even worse?

All that aside, there is absolutely NO reason to think the situation would have been better for homosexuals in Muslim countries if Trump had been making the decisions.

If you want to say Hillary Clinton is more "responsible" for things impacted by government actions than Trump is that's obviously true because Trump has never been in government. He's been in the Peanut Gallery like the rest us. He's never had to make a single decision that has any impact in that regard. He's just been able to do things like start off saying we ought to use our military to take out Quaddaffi in Lybia then later talk about how stupid it was to take out Quaddaffi after people who actually had to make the decisions facilitated doing exactly what he said he wanted to see done.

It's not just about what is unknown about Trump. That's not it. It's what you know...or should know...about him if you've been paying attention.

He is the most dishonest Presidential candidate of the modern era. There is very little exaggeration in the statement that he lies every time he opens his mouth. He is emotionally unstable and immature. He has impulse control issues. He lets his ego gets to him and does irrational things as a result. He is totally unqualified for the job. That sort of thing.

He is not an unknown. He is known to be a thoroughly dishonest, emotionally unstable, nut job.

He is clearly the poorer of two very poor choices.
