Would you rather people just shot people who looked intimidating? In order for a shooting to be stopped by someone with a CC the shooting has to start in the first place. People will most likely be hurt or die when it starts, but at least can be stopped quickly.

The part about CCW that worries me is the way it makes everybody start talking like a vigilante. Notice how whenever the subject of CCW comes up there is very little said about protecting yourself?
