To be fair it was a British kid that had never fired a gun before
His attempt included trying to take a gun away from an officer (seriously)
and
he suffers from autism



That's not attempted murder as much as it is attempted suicide
combined with a very healthy dollop of stupid

That doesn't quite fit the "all hands on deck" assassin profile
and its getting about as much press as the guy who jumped the fence at the white house
to kill the president
