Votes counted crosses the 50% threshold - 52% leave, just under a half million vote lead.

Most of the places likely to favor staying have already reported. Probably nothing left now except to take a knee.

Way to go Brits for standing up for your sovereignty over corrupt EU financial institutions and multicultural cultists!

Now hopefully other EU states propping up the Union will follow. :notworthy:

Been watching BBC too. I feel like they unofficially called it for Leave about 1 1/2-2 hours ago so they aren't bothering with the key areas.

Woo-hoo!

Hope this call isn't a Dewey situation.

If not, good for the Brits!

Now, let's kick the Brits out of Ireland...and get back to Scottish and Welsh independence. :thumb:

Here is a longer extract from Nigel Farage's controversial 'victory' speech:

'"If the predications now are right this will be a victory for real people, a victory for ordinary people, a victory for decent people. We have fought against the multinationals, against the big merchant banks, against big politics, against lies against lies, corruption and deceit and today honesty and decency and belief in nation I think now is going to win.

We will have done it without having to fight, without a single bullet having been fired.

I hope this victory brings down this failed projects and brings us to a Europe of sovereign nation states trading together.

Let June the 23rd go down in our history as our independence day."'

Brits saw through the crap that has been shoved down people's throats. Good for them!

Ironically this will probably lead to another Scottish referendum...or possibly even a unilateral declaration of independence. And also possibly a reunification between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Both so they can be still be a part of the EU.

Wales voted strongly for leave as well. If the UK becomes just England and Wales, what would be the likelihood of just full unification under the English flag?

Congrats to the Brits, I didn't think they had it in them. :thumb:

The Pound took a pounding ( ) down to about 1.32 at the bottom, but once Cameron announced he was tucking tail, it rebounded well...back up to about 1.39 as of now.
