St. Paul, Minn. — Gov. Tim Pawlenty is expected to announce today that he will not run for a third term.

Pawlenty has scheduled a 2 p.m. news conference to talk about his future plans, and sources at the Capitol with knowledge of the governor's plans have told Minnesota Public Radio News that Pawlenty will announce he will not seek re-election next year

I don't like him. I am supporting Romney or Jindal in 2012. He does not stand a chance against Obama.

Pawlenty is too much like McCain on policy. He sticks to his guns when he makes a decision whether popular or not. Doesn't seem like a strong leader, acts more like a front-man for the Reps. If it's between Pawlenty and Obama, I may just vote Jesse Ventura.

Anybody but Susan Gaertner and I'm fine. She railroaded a friend of mine in the court system. He served his time and she came back and added time, even though he was a model citizen. She's a very vindictive person.
