I've really been doing my homework for this season and I think I'm starting to get a rough idea of what I'm going to submit when the time comes. It's kinda sad that Ivy League schools are ineligible for the postseason because I think Harvard in recent years might have had a decent chance of actually doing something in the tournament. Keep in mind that's my opinion but there are certain teams in those non Postseason conferences that might stand a chance in the postseason in a few years time who knows tbh.

They could certainly win a first round game depending on the opponent, but I don't think they stack up with the power conferences. There are so few non-Ivy and non-Patriot games on which to go, but it's happened several times recently where an undefeated Ivy champ loses 1 or 2 OOC games and it's not like they're playing heavy hitters OOC.

Polls are a funny thing. They certainly don't represent who you think is the better team one v one as you go down the rankings. It's basically a reward for winning the games you've played....

Holy crapola --- I actually agree with 89. Sorta.

Everyone has their own nebulous views of the Top25. There are Homers, of course, but some folks Top25 votes are based upon little more than W-L records, other polls, or maybe an FBS win. If that is the chief criteria set by our Overlords, that's great -- but when I voted I tried to sort-out the Top25 best teams regardless of record, even if they **threw-up** a few stinkers along the way.

If that involved putting a 4-3 team in front of a 6-1 team, so be it.
