If you give $200 or more in a federal election, guess what? No anonymity. If you're worried about losing your job if Safeway finds out about the $27 you gave to Bernie over the Internet, you may have legal remedies. Your big beef is with the 501(c)(4) "nonprofit" groups, which game the system by pushing positions on "issues" without (cough,cough) "coordinating with a candidate."
