Let that sink in for a second.

This election is over (we already knew it was I guess)

Trump is already making excuses and he's also priming the pump to duck out of the last two of the three scheduled debates.

My theory that he was a Clinton plant is still looking viable

Not really a Democrat plant, but I'm pretty sure a Clinton plant.

So Trump is planning to campaign exclusively in four swing states? That may not be a bad thing for GOP down-ballot candidates.

Things that might make Trump's numbers go "bump" in the night-

Hillary Clinton is assassinated.
Hillary Clinton is indicted.
There is a major terror attack in the US that is directly the fault of Obama/Clinton
Hillary Clinton makes the mistake of only attacking Trump.

None of these things are likely IMO, I agree Gil, this election will be called by 10:00 PM ECB time on election night.
You left off 2 more possibilities:
-Hillary dies of natural causes.
-A major health setback is disclosed which forces her to drop out or which leads people to question her ability to serve a full term in office..

It's a guarantee that this doesn't happen. She ain't got this close just to let a silly little thing like her health get in the way...and any outside concerns about this will be shouted down as sexism.

Latest news flash, the idea of Trump dropping out has been posed, his campaign crew is fighting among themselves, and the core Republicans jumping off the Trump boat in droves.

I'm looking at the Fox News poll that just came out. Not the best poll as it has a B rating but I looked at it for the crosstabs and specifically for what it has on the extent to which Republicans and Democrats are supporting their own candidate. It has Hillary leading among Democrats by 87% to 5% and Trump leading among Republicans by 78% to 12%. So it has Clinton as being +82 among Democrats vs. Trump as being +66 among Republicans. It doesn't take much.

The thing for me is that I don't just want Clinton to win. I want Trump to get blown out so the act of voting for him during the primaries is seen as what it was: REALLY foolish. I don't want Republican primary voters to be tempted to do this kind of crap again.

Watching a report on MSNBC right now where this reporter is saying she talked to a Republican operative who said that a psychiatrist would diagnose Trump as having a personality disorder. See? I'm not the only one thinking that kind of thing.

Although amusing at first, the thought of Trump actually being POTUS was drunk talk. Nothing but self abuse and dissipation has resulted from the primary process, and now early in the general campaign. Clinton only has to stand back and watch the crash and burn.

The attempt at the "big tent" GOP has resulted in the nuttiest sorts being let in the back flap and they took over.

Let the tea baggers and bible thumpers form their own party, they sure fucked up the Republican party, but then, who let them??

It worked during the conk primary. And Hillary's weakness is anything that isn't tightly scripted (hence no press conferences since Dec). She had it easy vs that pussy Bernie in the donk debates. He could have hammered her over Benghazi, the e-mails, Clinton foundation pay to play, etc, but didn't. She's never had to debate someone like Trump. You can whine all you want about Trumps lack of substance ad hominem debate attacks, but todays reality tv show watching pop culture public eats that shit up. He's going to hammer her in the debates.

That's not a 4 way poll. As a Johnson supporter you should know by now that 2 way polls are meaningless...

Yep, you'all see/hear this a thousand times over in the next 97 days..Wait until most of the middle class over the next several weeks finds out that Clinton has now admitted what we knew all along- that she wants to raise taxes on the middle class (the MSM will try to hide/downplay it). That admission right there will more damaging than anything Trump has said so far..

Experienced something that was anecdotal but still encouraging this morning. Has to do with wondering if Blacks will be motivated to turn out and vote against Trump.

I stopped at a convenience store on the way to work. I was the only White person inside. The two ladies behind the counter and all the customers in the store other than me were Black. I'm standing in line waiting to check out and one of the cashiers starts talking about there having been a "crazy guy" in front of the store earlier. She said, "He was talking to himself and waving his hands around?"

So I cracked, "Trump was out there?"

And boy did that set them off. Everybody, cashiers and customers, started spouting anti Trump venom. It was obvious that it's not just that they want the Democrat to win. They absolutely DESPISE Trump. They were downright fired up.

Me, as an anti Trump White guy, I was In Like Flynn!

How long can this kind of good fortune continue? Today he was talking about seeing video of a plane delivering the money, how the Iranians sent the video out to embarrass us, etc. Made a big deal out of it.

Problem: There is no such video.

I just hope this guy continues to do this. I guess I should be confident that he will since he's been doing this kind of crap since the beginning. But I keep worrying that he's somehow going to be able to fake being rational for long enough to fool people.

Are you guys ready to say, "OK enough is enough. You're right. This guy has no business being President? " At some point you're going to have to admit it.
