The Republican guy who wrote the speech for the Benghazi Mom who spoke at the Republican convention pens an op ed saying he can't vote for Trump and may vote for Clinton.
What's the story here? He's a political speechwriter. He was paid for a job. Him voting for Clinton doesn't make him a hypocrite. I work for Bank of America, am I a hypocrite b/c I don't bank with them? :suspicious: :dunce:
I wasn't thinking of him being a hypocrite. I was thinking of how phony this makes the whole Republican thing look. The words people heard from that woman weren't her words. Now we find that the person who wrote the words for her will definitely NOT vote for the Republican candidate and may vote for the person the words were attacking.

Contrast that to the Khan guy at the Democrat convention. First of all, those were his words. No one wrote them for him. Secondly, I don't think we have to worry about the person who crafted the words saying at some point that he's not going to vote for Clinton and may vote for Trump. It just comes off as way more genuine.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

I suppose I can never be absolutely sure. But I think it's a reasonable conclusion. It was pretty obvious to me in watching Khizr Kahn's speech that he was just speaking from his own thought process. Here's one article on it:

Nobody is even challenging the idea that Patricia Smith's speech was written for her by the guy who is now saying he can't vote for Trump. Not even Patricia Smith.

Oh no, my brown brother, you will only hear that from the donk true believers. Take it from the guy who saw Bernie coming tried to tell you: Hillary will be getting plenty of pushback from the left and independents.
If that was the case, Jill Stein wouldn't be losing to some guy named "Deez Nuts" in the polls.

Right. I predict that Jill Stein will end up outpolling Deze Nuts with a late surge of support in Southern Illinois, Kentucky, and the Missouri Bootheel.

No. You are incorrect. Same family. They used to hang around a real dick for a while but they've grown up. Deze, obviously in Cook County, leans left.

Deez is from Iowa. Too smart to live in Illinois.
