I know a bunch of local Republicans who say they will vote for Johnson this time around, and some have switched their registrations from "R" to Independent in protest of Trump and the GOP's inept handling of the primaries, but I don't know of any who have changed their registrations to Libertarian. There's an active debate going on in small-l libertarian circles about whether the Libertarian Party will be a "permanent splinter party" that never achieves a critical mass of registered voters.

Mitt Romney was relatively moderate on social issues and it pissed the social conservatives off.

This. Obama/hilldog implemented a foreign policy akin to W's on steroids. Remember the leftist outrage over Iraq? Libya is Obama/hilldogs Iraq, both actions resulted in a failed ME state. There was a military coup that ousted an elected president in Egypt to essentially get them back to where they were under W. We have boots on the ground in Yemen serving as "advisers" to the Saudi troops there. Oh and we're still in Afghanistan even after getting OBL (Obama's greatest foreign policy accomplishment IMO).

Then there's Syria. That "sad" picture going around of that little boy pulled from the rubble? Yeah that kinda **** happens when you draw a red line and don't enforce it. That's all on Obama, and hilldog gets bonus points for selling buko amounts of guns to the Saudi's that no doubt gets in the hands of these "moderate" rebels all over that region. Thanks Obama.

Then there's still Sudan to talk about. Another success story there.

Obama/hilldog have literally learned nothing from the failed W foreign policy and have continued where he left off...but yet it's somehow touted as great experience by leftists.

I personally know more bernie folks who easily jumped on the hilldog train rather than either 1) sided with Stien/Johnson or 2) are deciding not to vote. Sure you can say Trump is the reason for that but I'm willing to put my house on the line that there would have been little to no difference had the "best" of any of the other conk candidates made it. Maybe Rubio (Brown card) would have brought on some of those folks simply for the "getting one of our own" in the WH factor...maybe.
