Obama visits Saudi Arabia Today

Post by Gil Dobie »

We love that Saudi oil

Link
U.S. President Barack Obama has arrived in Saudi Arabia for the first leg of his maiden tour of the Middle East, a visit aimed at improving relations between the United States and the Islamic world.

After arriving in Riyadh, Obama travelled to King Abdullah's farm where the two were to hold talks expected to cover the Arab-Israeli conflict, U.S. overtures to Iran, and oil. Obama will continue his visit with a keynote speech in Cairo, Egypt.
Keep the oil flowing Sheikh

That was one gross picture. But I say it was "church tongue" only. ;)

Actually, that is NOT at all what he said, but the right-wing radio has never gotten much right.

What Obama SAID was that there are more Muslims in the United States than in many "Muslim" countries. True statement.

The fact is, when it comes to foreign policy, Obama has been infinitely more conservative than Bush could have dreamed of in his wet dreams.

If only the job pertained to foreign policy, I'd be an Obama supporter thus far. Unfortunately, as great as the things are he's saying in regards to FP, I cannot support his domestic policies.

Any Conks wanting to disagree with Obama's foreign policy thus far, need to study up on what true conservatism is. "Today's conservatism" is analogous to "today's country [music]."
