It's not just Politifact either. I wish I could find a Youtube video of a piece I saw during the Republican primaries where they were interviewing a couple of reporters on the beat following Trump rallies. They talked about how he stands up there and tells lie after lie then points to the reporters in the back and calls them the lying media. They were, like, stupified by the irony.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Just look at the Politifact files on the two. If you ask the media which of the two lies more it's not going to be close. It's going to be Trump. And it's not just going to be that he lies more. It's going to be that he lies a LOT more. And that's what I would suggest she be doing. Calling him out when he lies then appealing to the media to fact check him. He can do the same if he wants. But it it comes to that he'll lose that fight. The media will end up saying he lies a lot more. And the media will be right.

Again, weight the lies, John.
Trump lied about looking into casinos in Florida. Nobody was killed. Trump did not gain financially from the inquiry or the lie.
"Benghazi was caused by a video." People died because of a failed foreign policy and the lack of any response, and she, and the Dems, wanted to suppress the truth because of an upcoming election.

You realize that "the media" that you are referencing has a liberal bias, right?

Holy crap...she is the ultimate in image control...and JSO loves that sort of thing. :dunce:

Trump ought to put that is his ads.

"Is Hillary going to demand a step stool every time she needs to step up to the world's leaders?"

The shorter person always fights for this.

Bush wanted something to stand on to debate against Kerry.

Ford wanted podia of different sizes against Carter.

Taller person looks more authoritative. I'm sure both sides requested a plethora of ridiculous shit.

Trump requested that the moderator not fact check the candidates' statements, etc.

ODU is 1-2 and it doesn't look good the rest of the way.

That is such a bunch of crap. The guy has never been in the arena. No, he's never had any issues with foreign policy because he's never been in position to IMPACT foreign policies. But as a person he is clearly about as dishonest as dishonest gets. And, yes, he's more dishonest than Clinton is. He is a total flim flam man.

He HAS shown that he lies just about every time he opens his mouth. He is making his case for being President with a barrage of lies. He is doing things like touting his judgment while lying about positions he's taken in the past.

This crap of "weight" of lies is a bunch of nonsense. When you're talking about the overwhelming edge he has over Clinton in terms of false statements during this campaign it is just that: Overwhelming. To think he wouldn't continue to lie repeatedly if he WERE in position to be responsible for things is absurd.

So Trump and Hillary have the same number of major foreign policy victories (0). The only difference is that he wasn't in the "arena" and has had 0 failures as well while everything Hillary has touched seems to fail.

I don't disagree with you about Trump. He is a flim flam artist and a bombastic blowhard liar. Hillary's lies are more calculated and more difficult to prove. The weight or impact of the lies should be a factor. They both seem to lie for the sake of lying but Trump lies to inflate his ego while Hillary lies to save her caboose from an indictment. How can you say that it isn't important? Oh right, it isn't important because Hillary's lies can't be definitively proven so they must be true and further proof that Hillary is a paragon of virtue and the innocent victim of Conk smear campaigns. Open your eyes Jon, she's a slimy untrustworthy slug whose only goal is the accumulation of power. Trump isn't any better but don't try and make Hillary into something she isn't.

And why in the **** are they going up against MNF. This is America gawdammit!
There's no valid reason to have the debates outside of Tues-Thur.
Fri night is HS football
Sat night is college
Sun-Mon night is NFL.

There's 12 Tues-Thur nights in the 4 week period the debates are held. The fact that they are only using 1 of them, and having 2 of the debates on Sun-Mon nights, is mind boggling..
