Religion of Peace Strikes Yet Again - U.S. Liberals Silent

Post by Col Hogan »

Even in a "moderate" Islamic country like Jordon, making fun of ( or even the perception of making fun of ) Islam can be deadly...
A Jordanian writer charged with offending Islam after allegedly sharing a satirical cartoon on his Facebook page has been killed.
Nahid Hattar, a Christian, was hit by three bullets outside the court in the capital Amman where he was standing trial, state news agency Petra said.
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-37465656

His crime? Sharing a cartoon of a bearded man in bed with a couple of ladies, and asking God to bring him a drink...

That U.S. liberals are silent. This authoritarian/theocratic/conk-like behavior should be exposed at every turn.

It doesn't fit the liberal agenda. How are they going to be able to keep flying in violent sand niqqers from Syria by the thousands if this sort of thing is exposed at every turn? They want to keep striving to marginalize the white, male Christian in this country, so they can't turn off the spigot now.

Your worst enemies are people like Sally Kohn who continue to spread the lie that Islam is a religion of peace...if we'd only listen to the millions of "progressive" muslims in the world.

Don't use American liberals and the Constitution in the same sentence, Learned Hand. Liberals, who worship unrestrained executive power and the rise of the administrative state, regard the Constitution as an annoying obstacle to their political objectives.

Liberals and the constitution are like liberals and capitalism. Sometimes you need a good one like FDR to save it from itself.

And thanks for the Learned Hand reference. I had to look that one up. Thought it was some fancy Ivy League pejorative swipe...didn't know it was a dude. And hey...he sounds EXACTLY like kalm!
Hand's skepticism extended to his political philosophy: he once described himself as "a conservative among liberals, and a liberal among conservatives"

I wish Bush/Cheney/Halliburton had spoken to King Abdullah II of Jordan before they went on their little Iraqi adventure. The guy was on 60 Minutes last night and just spoke nothing but truth.

Hint: I was trolling.

It was an homage to D1b's (RIP) riff on crack dealers being conks. Which also has a certain degree of truth to it. :thumb:

What you're suggesting is called "Advanced Intelligence"

Why would we give a shit about advanced intelligence..?
