Why is that so confusing?

What's confusing to the majority of people here, T, is your insistence on being a Conk. Have you not seen the light?
I have seen the light, brother...and your attitude towards ideas that do not perfectly line up with yours has helped me understand my direction in life...

Hoagenheimer,
Lemme tell you something. Cap'n Cat loves everyone, Conk, Donk or otherwise. D1B does, too. I'm waiting for the day when you and he and I can share a tailgate overflowing with sausages and a cooler overflowing with cold containers of fermented hops and grains.

I appreciate all ideas that do not line up perfectly with mine, but reserve the right to poke adherents thereof, mostly for fun and laughs.

Re politics, a professor once told me that a plane cannot fly without either the left wing or the right wing, so welcome aboard, brother; there will be some turbulence on this flight, but we'll all arrive at the journey's end safe and sound.

Especially if we continue electing Democrats.

Actually, as Christians, we are SUPPOSED to share our testimony about the greatness of God- no matter what country we live in.
But are you SUPPOSED to tell people that thier way is wrong because it is contrary to yours? Are you supposed to be like the Baptists down here that called interracial loved a sin, that carry Confederate battle flags through church and talk about women needing to serve men?

As Christians, you are SUPPOSED to stand up for your faith and defend it, but you are also supposed to respect the choice of others. "Treat others as you would like to be treated", is supposed to be the general rule which is forgotten. It is not the place of a Christian, Jew, Muslim or whatever to push thier beilefs on others and condem those that don't believe the same things. That's true bigotry.

The "you" is generalized, not directed towards you HIU93.
1. There was no "you" in the quote from hillhound, so I do not know where that particular statement is coming from.

2. In my statement, I never stated any belief system, religion, or way of life is wrong.
"This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will.

Refer to where I say the "you" is generalized and not directed towards you. I understand you never stated a religion, etc.. .is wrong. I wasn't asking about that. The entire post is a general comment, open to interpretation, comment and what not.

I guess I have to explain it more plain and simple for you. I was clearing up a point of fact. That's all. You guys can argue who should or should not be allowed to practice religion and how they should be able to practice religion until you are blue in the face. I was, again, clearing up a point of fact.

Your entire tone on this discussion is argumenttive and not necessary, but I digress. So, let me turn my hat around and talk to you in the only manner you seem to understand. I wasn't talking (typing) to you. I was clearing up a point of fact. I don't give a flying flip what you think about religion, homosexuality, or anything else, for that matter. I was clearing up a point of fact. Hillhound made an incorrect statement, and I was making a simple claricfication. Since you want to make this a personal beef or argument, then I'll let you continue to rant until your hair falls out, but I'm done with it. I have made the statement that I care to make.

Have a Blessed Day.

Quaint, and maybe correct, Tman. However, look where the Conk-piloted plane landed. You happy?

I respectfully disagree since I have not been argumentative, I am not ranting. I was merely asking general questions. This isn't a "personal beef", so drop the drama queen act. If anyone is being argumentative or being personal, it's you with your snide, my shit smells like potpourri because I went to Hampton, I have many designer suits and many leather bound books attitude, so cut the bullshit. I wasn't talking to you directly in my initial post, which I stated, so either you don't read an entire post, care not to read certain parts of posts, or your just an arrogant, ignorant child that thinks everyone that quotes him is talking directly to him.

If you don't want to be in discussions, you have no place on a message board. If you can't tolerate someone asking a question based off your response, you have no place on a message board. I await your snide, sarcastic and proabably racists rebuttal.
