Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't read all your posts so forgive me if I'm not fully up to speed on your voting intentions. :coffee:

And you may be taking crazy pills. :kisswink:

Like you said, I don't stalk you and I've asked you at least twice (though I don't know how often, if at all, you've responded.)

Evan McMullin? 8-)
Sorry, it was answered in this very thread. Perhaps you didn't know that's what NOTA was. I can't in good conscience vote for Trump and there is no way in hell I'd vote for Hillary. I will most likely do a write-in and it very well could be Giant Meteor. IMO that's more of a message than Gary Johnson.

The way you feel about 3rd party candidates is how I feel about a write-in. You might as well stay home and lie about voting. What's the point?

I'm still not understanding your dislike of making a conscience vote in a state where it's decidedly going one way or another. If I was still in NC or another battleground state, I'd understand your point more and would reluctantly choose a side. Here in SC, not so much.
Two national scenarios:
1) Hillary 47% Trump 45%
2) Hillary 55% Trump 37%

Which scenario would give Hillary the "balls" to push her entire agenda without conceding even a little bit to the right?

Over? Did you say Over?

Just got back from voting in a battleground state. Went with Johnson for Pres and Sean Haugh for Senate. I simply couldn't make myself pull the trigger for Trump or Clinton in one case. Haugh is a riot, and who wouldn't want a 51 year pizza delivery in the Senate? ;)

I was hooked in the last Senate election here. They finally allowed him into the final debate. At one point, Tillis (current Republican in the seat) said, " unlike my Republican opponent, I .......", and stammered. Haugh laughed and said " don't worry Thom, I can't tell the difference between your two parties either."

I'm apparently a registered Democrat. I won't vote for Hillary or The Donald. Johnson is the best candidate. So fack your cute little moral stands rhetoric.

Guess what folks, this country will survive either of these lousy candidates. Quit acting like the future of the Republic depends on 2016. I've never seen such drama. Carry on.

I thought my post and position is pretty clear, but I guess not. It's not the vote for Johnson that bothers me at all. Vote for whomever the hell you want. It's the pious stance that many of the Johnson voters are taking that they are somehow sending a message or making a difference or are somehow smarter for voting for Johnson. IMO they are not. Does Johnson have some good ideas? Sure. So does Trump and Hillary and even Cleets girl. But Johnson is a buffoon on the order of Trump, he just doesn't get as much press.

BTW, next line out of somebody's mouth will be "If half the people who said voting for Johnson...." It's round and round we go.
You...Sir 89hen...of all people...are objecting to a pious stance?

Voting for Johnson sends a message that you 1) favor his platform (perhaps his demeanor) over Hillary's and Trump's, and 2) will consider 3rd party options.

Abstaining sends neither of these messages.

YOU are the only one that will fit YOUR philosophy. And YOU are not running.
SOMEBODY will get elected and it could impact your life.
Why not play defense against the candidate that fit's your philosophy the least.

A 5% popular vote doesn't send a message about anything.

BTW, it takes one to know one. But the whole me being pious is a fabrication by Cleets, who is in fact the most pious person here. The only place where I really take a pious stance is my Game of the Week polls and that's mostly tongue in cheek.
