I'll reluctantly agree that she's clearly the more moderate, less bombastic, tallest midget in the room. :kisswink:

I just really take issue with the one-sidedness (sp?) of the media, the clear "above the law" actions, and the fact that she just kind of laughs it all off because she know she's going to win anyway because she's a Clinton. I've never really had a lot of faith that the government was here to help us, but I feel less like it now than ever.
If her health allows her to run again in 2020, I hope that someone else comes out of the woodwork who's a serious candidate that will embrace more of the ideals of we centrists.
Agreed. A billion dollars is spent on the election, the media is controlled by a handful of large corporations and we wonder why government and the media don't work for us... :ohno:

You are more of a commie over there. You don't bother to polish your "centrist, post-partisan" image there. You change persona faster than the speed of slubded.

And that's the irony of all of this. Ever since the 2000 election, people have been complaining about the elections being rigged. We had 8 years of the Bush presidency where the left routinely called him illegitimate, we actually pilloried the Supreme Court as a result, clearly Kerry and other Democrats thought there was fraud in Ohio in '04, and we have the very recent example of the Democratic primary where large swaths of Bernie supporters felt the nomination system was rigged (and if the wikileaks documents are valid, it would appear as if there was a lot of behind the scenes managing of the election results). Trump is a buffoon, there can be no doubt about that, but people holding their hands over their hearts and decrying that not having 100% faith in the electoral process is the end of our civilization are just ignoring a lot of our past 16 years of election history.

Well, as always I didn't watch it. But I can tell from the aftermath that it was once again like a cat (Clinton) playing with a mouse (Trump). Apparently she manipulated the hell out of him again.

And he's supposed to be this BIG tough guy who is going to go out there and "make deals" with the international community. He's the BIG tough guy that other foreign leaders will respect. He's SO tough and savvy.

Right. He's 0-3 against Clinton in the debates and it wasn't close. By all accounts she played him like a violin. Manipulated him into making a fool of himself time after time.

Oh, and I was wondering what the aftermath would be like yesterday when I saw reports of him once again ridiculing Clinton for actually taking time to prepare. Gee. Do we want a President who will actually prepare? Or do we want one who wants to make everything into a clown show? Gee. Which kind of person should we want? Hmmmmm.

I never do. You can tell who won by the aftermath just like you can tell who won a football game the next day by looking at the score. Also the polls. Once again the scientific polls had the majority perceiving Clinton as winning by a substantial margin (http://heavy.com/news/2016/10/who-won-t ... y-clinton/).

Plus you can see that the stories today are about stuff Trump said. Like saying he wouldn't commit to accepting the results of the election. Also stories about other Republicans rejecting his statement in that regard. And, after Clinton baited him, the thing where he called her a "nasty woman" and how that's going to hurt him with women voters. That's what the big stories are as far as I can tell.

He clearly once again got owned.

Just watch the aftermath. CNN scientific poll had more respondents perceiving Clinton as winning by 52 to 39%. Also, it had respondents saying that Hillary had a better understanding of the issues by 61 to 31%. And it had respondents thinking HIllary was best qualified to handle the Presidency by 59% to 35%. She kicked his ass. Again.

And BTW you have to remember that Trump cultists are going to say Trump won a debate regardless of how bad he got owned. They are totally divorced from reality.

Oh...here's another interesting one for you:

White voters with college degrees tabbed Hillary as the winner by 58 to 33%. But White voters without a college degree tabbed Trump by 48 to 41%.

This white voter with two college degrees watched all three debates and posted here extensively during all three in real time without much disagreement, even from liberals who were also here in real time. The debates in order, went to: Clinton decisively, Trump decisively, Trump by a small margin.
