1) Hope - nope
2) Change - yes, for the worse
See, we can play the Blame Obama game just like the Blame Bush game!

Just enforce the laws on the books and that is a huge start. Trump, being a business guy and stumping for the Rust Belt knows illegals are killing the working class. If he moved to severely fine and jail employers of illegals then no wall is needed.clenz wrote:As I've made clear, I mostly stay out of politics but have a question on the first.Chizzang wrote:1) The Wall

Is he talking about a physical wall or could it be a metaphorical wall that takes aim at the immigration policy to reform that?
I get it's probably physical but...

1 won't happen, but agree that everything else is doable.Cluck U wrote:1) The Wall - Doable.![]()

2) Lock Her up - Definitely do a quiet investigation...jail her if she is found guilty.
3) Ban Muslims - Adjusted point, extreme vetting, and a temporary ban on some countries is fine with me
4) Repeal Affordable Care Act - Doable...just defund everything.
5) Dismantle NAFTA and TPP - Doable...and the best idea of them all
6) ISIS destroyed in 90 days - ISIS effectively goes away if you take away their funding. Say bye-bye to the Saudis, let Russia handle Syria, Iraq, and Iran, and let Europe deal with Libya and Yemen.
All doable.

4) Repeal Affordable Care Act: Could happen, however, too many people would be hurt.
5) Dismantle NAFTA and TPP: PLEASE DO THIS!!!!!![]()

1) Doubt it. But let's start by actually enforcing our laws.Chizzang wrote:1) The Wall

I think that's an economic wall.SDHornet wrote:Just enforce the laws on the books and that is a huge start. That's what I thought it meant, more than a physical wall. Simply enforce/change laws and make it so that legal immigration is a clearer/more desirable path than simply coming in illegally and all that goes with that.Ibanez wrote:I think that's an economic wall.SDHornet wrote: Just enforce the laws on the books and that is a huge start. By raising taxes on...who, exactly?Pwns wrote:Read on CNN Money that Caterpillar and US Steel stocks are up. Apparently they are expecting Trump to fix the infrastructure.

All the talk about balanced budget never stopped conks from spending money we don't have.Grizalltheway wrote:By raising taxes on...who, exactly?Pwns wrote:Read on CNN Money that Caterpillar and US Steel stocks are up. Apparently they are expecting Trump to fix the infrastructure.
