Ugly homecoming for GSU last night. Baldy, were the boobirds out?

Just saw the score. GSUfans must be in worse meltdown than they were after our game. The GSU faithful have reason to want their coach/AD's heads on a pike.

I'm pulling for you guys. It's rare to see ASU/GS solidarity - next thing you know dogs and cats will be getting along.

All but the center of the visitor's side is closed. We had a great crowd, packed in on the home side.

But there's a lot to do in Charleston and that has hurt us over the last 15 years

If the only option in Charleston was to either attend a football game or chase our sisters around for a piece of ass that she only gives up once every two months, we'd have kid brewer numbers, too

Feel free to pay us a few hundred thousand dollars to come play you in Boone and it will be beneficial to both of us- we'll get to remove the lead paint, and you can bite into that two game win streak we have over the Apps

How bad is the Sun Belt?

Idaho is bowl eligible.

This is why dback disappeared.

He could handle the potential of a Trump presidency... but, a ranked Sun Belt team was just too much.

Their wins are Montana State, UNLV, Texas State, ULM, ULL, and New Mexico State. They literally have no win over any SBC team from the top half of the Sun Belt.

So you're saying that there are enough god-awful teams that even Idaho can rack up enough wins to become bowl eligible? :suspicious:

Yeah, "bowl eligible" isn't necessarily an accomplishment.

Not that hard to rack up 6 wins against 6 unimpressive opponents.

Just look at Montana. ;)

It's not like they're competing for a playoff spot or anything and need a few quality wins to get in.

Getting ranked 25th usually doesn't require many quality wins.

Do I think they are one of the best 25 teams in the country? No.

Do I think they are any worse than a lot of Group of 5 teams that get ranked? No.

Western Michigan beat Northwestern who was not that good at the beginning of the season and lost to ISU-r. They beat a crappy Illinois team that will probably finish 3-9.. Troy's loss to Clemson is arguably more impressive than either of those wins (yes I'm serious) so if WMU can be ranked Troy should also be ranked.

And after watching WMU, App State, and Troy I think I can say with a fairly high amount of confidence that both App State and Troy are better than WMU.

I don't disagree with you guys, but to me it feels like a pity vote. Maybe pity is a bad word. How about a "you've won a lot of games, what does it hurt to give you some kudos" vote.

Wasn't that the game when the Clemson player gave away a TD with a premature celebration? Closer than it should have been, but not really. And you are dismissing the Northwestern win because of it being early in the season but extolling this game which was the second game of the season?

If you want to take it that far, Troy had two fumble recoveries blown dead and one was a return for a TD. So there's that.
