That wouldn't make sense. Fly into Wilmington, rent a car and then drive 1.5 hrs to Conway, SC then drive the 1.5 hours back to Wilmington? Coastal isn't near Cape Fear. They would've flown into Myrtle beach, no?

Hey back in the day I was very well aware of who Tubby Raymond and Roy Kidd were. I knew who K.C. Keeler was when he was at Delaware. I knew who Jerry Moore was at Appalachian State. I knew who Paul Johnson was when he was at Georgia Southern and I sure as heck knew who Erk Russell was. I knew who Jim Tressel was when he was at Youngstown State. Heck I knew who Jack Cosgrove was at Maine.

But this Rocco guy didn't ring a bell.

He's had his team finish in the top 25 in 8 of his 11 seasons as HC. 2 of the 3 he didn't was his first 2 years as a head coach.

Granted, he doesn't fill his rosters with convicted felons right out of prison, so I wouldn't expect you to know him.

Did you happen to see KT's article in the News Journal yesterday. Several new quotes from Rocco saying essentially there is a lot of speculation out there that he won't entertain while he's getting ready for a playoff game.

I like to think I'm a pretty good reader of people and interpreter of quotes. Never once did he make an emphatic denial. My "feel" was that UD and Rocco may already be a done deal.
