SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Word in the local fishwrap today was that the official "wish list" is topped by Pete Carroll. There would be so much red tape involved between salary and draft pick compensation (even assuming the Seahawks would be willing to even DISCUSS the matter, after signing him to a huge extension this summer), that that would likely be a non-starter.

You want a good coach with UOP connections, Stan? Look no farther than John-John. You ALREADY have an outstanding guy. Just remove the interim tag and be done with it....
