And I also feel terrible for every single one of them. Hounddawg talks about the 3 ring circus that Trump's election has kicked off, but it's not on the GOP side of things - the left is in just an absolute meltdown right now. Everything they laughed about the GOP doing once Trump lost the election has basically turned into a playbook for them on how to react now that Trump has won - challenge the voting system and say it's full of holes and always has been (despite proudly saying it was fraud free and incontrovertible just prior to this election), appeal to the Electoral College to go faithless in large numbers and overturn the general election for the first time in our history, not only accuse but say with certainty that other nations rigged our election, and go on record as saying they will never accept the legitimacy of this election (the "not our President" mantra). Sure, the GOP could've done any and all of these things had Hillary won, but of course we'll never know.
NPR has been almost unlistenable in the past few weeks. Heck, they actually had a metereologist on yesterday about how they are now squirriling (sp) climate data away on various servers and flash drives so that when Jan 20th rolls around Trump won't be able to hit the "delete" button and destroy all that research for all of time. They didn't get into the particulars about where that button exists and how it actually works, but they seemed convinced that it was a possibility. Three ring circus indeed.
