The people who hate Trump is a minority of the country, mostly the lefties such as yourself who live in their liberal blue bubbles...A minority of the country hated Obama, too.

On what issue has the court checked Trump on besides the immigration order? (And that was a 9th circuit judge in Seattle can overruling circuit judge in Boston. The issue will probably go all the way to SCOTUS).

Good to hear from you Trip and nice going on getting involved. :thumb: Like Cluck said, hopefully you can have a positive affect and improve the corruption in the Democratic Party from the inside.
I appreciate the sentiments. This board is mostly full of good people who at least understand that all points of views are needed to balance each other out. I used to have great arguments with conservatives, but I now feel dismayed by people stroking Trump's dick, as if they voraciously live through his successes and feel personally criticized when people call him out on his bullshit.

But I take solace in the fact that history is unkind to people like Trump, his staff, and the current crop GOP legislators. Even if they don't live to see the day, they'll go down in the books as a callous part of the American experiment. And for Trump, a man which has always desired to to be universally loved, it must be eating him up that a legacy of being hated is what he'll leave behind. A very small part of me feels bad for him because I don't think he ever thought the ramifications through when he embarked on his journey to the Presidency. But it is what it is; the history books will not be good to him.

ps. I don't ever plan to "rise" through the ranks of the DNC so I doubt I'll ever see corruption if there is any (and I'm sure there is). This is all low-level stuff I've been helping with.

You obviously hadn't been reading TripperedAlert's previous posts. He went full blown batshyte crazy a while ago...and his posts were full of anger towards Hillary's opponents. There was no recognition of the screw job Hillary and the DNC, both without any morals at all, did to Bernie. No...just a simple, "Bernie needed to get out of the way of Hillary" mantra that manged to, with pride and contempt, scorn Bernie for thinking he belonged anywhere near the Democratic machine.

So yeah...you somehow are surprised that Trip doesn't want to make any changes to the DNC.

Again...maybe he was too nuanced for you, but anyone with a brain saw that he doesn't think the Democrats need changes to the way they did things towards others and their own party...except maybe to take them even further left and make them even more strident in their desires to rid this country of the people they believe are not worthy of breathing their rarefied air.

You said courtS as in plural. Its only been one issue/judge... You could also say the courts aren't checking him, because of the numerous exec actions, only one has been temporarily so far stopped by a court. None of the others exec actions have. So thanks for playing..

It wasn't just one court.

New York was the first

Then Virginia

Then Washington

The fact the loudest ones left shows you how morally bankrupt they are. They are front runners that LOVE shoving shit down your throat when its going their way, but turn it around and they are COWARDS of the highest order. Typical left, create problems then run away when the going gets tough.

 Oh, quit being a tight ass. It doesn't matter if it's 1 court or 20. 1 EO or 5. He's been checked. The system is working. By my count it's been New York, Massachusetts, Virginia and Washington with a possible California court to issue some sort of ruling against the EO.

I obviously disagreed with Trip's support of Hillary and argued with him about it as well. Evidently in your zeal to define him as a homo for playing tennis, antiquing, and drinking wine, you forgot that. (Wait...I can kind of see your point there... Still not sure how it applied to politics though).

Perhaps the election changed his views on politics a little. Lord knows the Democratic Party needs some soul searching and I'm guessing that's taking place for at least a few of them. For the good of the country (for at least as long as we remain a duopoly), we need that party to strengthen and provide some balance.

IE, I believe in redemption, the ability to grow intellectually, and the importance of not putting words in other people's mouths.

I think we'll always be a duopoly. History definitely points in that direction. American third parties end up like the Judean People's Front vs. The Popular Front of Judea.

Uh, no...we do not need the Dems to strengthen. We do need them to grow up and be honest, but Tripocrisy doesn't want to be a part of that intellectual exercise. Oddly enough, he's built his own wall in his mind to keep out things he considers bad.

Obviously, I do not need to put words into his mouth...he's doing a wonderful job exposing his inner, bitter, hateful, intolerant beliefs all by himself.

Again, quantity doesn't matter. The fact that courts (albeit liberal courts) are checking him prove me right. You're just trying to qualify the amount of checks. If this were Obama or any other Democrat, you'd make no distinction in the number (and you know i'm right.) So now we're down 1. I'm sure there will be something in the coming weeks/months that will be checked. Obamacare?

Yeah, he's had ONE exec order out of how many (a doz?) checked so far. Wake me up when a 2nd one is.
Obamacare?
A federal appeals court on Thursday unanimously upheld a judge’s order that slammed the brakes on President Trump’s temporary refugee and immigration ban.

Quantity does matter. Big difference having 1 exec action of double digit checked and multiple. Again wake me up when a 2nd one is.

The greater point is that without legislative power, the Dems have nowhere to go but the courts.
