You don't get it, clitsaurus

Trump hates the fact that we have to make things in China

He would much rather we make things here at 7 bucks an hour

What am I not getting again..?
That he hates that we HAVE TO make stuff there (because we don't)
or that we choose to..?

Because given the choice Trump overwhelmingly chooses to make all his products over seas
So explain it to me slower because I think I'm too dumb to understand your point

Well at least lower prices have lifted people out of poverty, helping them to pay more taxes, so we can lower the burden on the rich and corporations... :thumb:

I keep reading the "Have to" part of your post..
Help me out with that please

Actually as I re-read it (again) the entire post is senseless
So clearly I'm missing the finer points - so I'll wait for you to explain it

Of course we have to - anything that HAS TO be sold at Wal Mart HAS TO be made in China

Or Vietnam or Bangladesh or wherever - You can't make cheap consumer sh1t at American wages and stay in business.

So maybe we'll make cheap sh1t in America at Chinese wages

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that Clitz' company wasn't making rubber dog shit or back scratchers or unstable plastic chairs

The key element to understanding the "Have to" part of Cid's post is knowing what was implied but not actually spelled out. "Trump hates the fact that we have to make things in China" is better understood as "Trump hates the fact that we have to make things in China in order to maximize profits and to sell materialistic junk at prices that American consumers will actually pay".

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

UNI88 comes the closest to actually laying it out properly...
Yet: The truth of it is even simpler

The crap made in China should be made in China (The end)
No deeper understanding is required

The point is Trump Women's clothing is (was) expensive
As expensive as clothing made in Italy and Spain and California
yet it was made in China

Of course it didn't sell at Nordstroms
You can buy American and Italian at those prices at Nordstroms

What an excuse. You can't on one hand have things made in China and on the other hand talk about Making America Great Again. You can't have it both ways. No one forced him to buy shit from China. Trump could build a factory in Ohio and have these shirts he he wanted too.

IMO, It's only a matter of time before things made in China are in the minority in our marketplace. China is getting too expensive and alot of the manufacturing, for garments for example, is going to Vietnam, Bangladesh and Cambodia. China is finding it cheaper to manufacture in the American South as it puts them closer to the consumer, reduces taxes and supply chain costs. States like Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee ( I think) are seeing an uptick in Chinese manufacturers setting up shop.

My wife works in production for a clothing company and deals with it first hand. It seems a few times a month her Chinese suppliers are making mention of the decline in garment manufacturers. Her 2 Vietnam manufacturers are increasingly doing more and more work. The Chinese are taking an American approach to things and are outsourcing production. :thumb: Thanks NAFTA. :thumb:

But it isn't just textiles. It's also categories like paper products and electronics.

I don't know the specifics, but what involvement does Donald have in his daughters clothing line? Regardless, it's all money. As I stated previously, my wife works in clothing production. Specifically, sweaters, knit bottoms, athletic wear and sleepwear. Their most expensive sweater costs a few dollars.

Btw, I find it funny that you'll spell "shit" and "fucking" correctly, but not "ass."

You ran on a platform of America First and Make American Again.
You promised the rednecks from Ohio and Pennsylvanian that you would bring back the so-called high income manufacturing jobs back to this country but you buy this crap from China.

Are those jobs making rubber dog shit high income manufacturing jobs? When I think high income manufacturing jobs, I think jobs that make real stuff like cars, tractors, planes, tech and equipment used in construction. But that's just me, maybe those manufacturing jobs making rubber dog shit is high paying. I seriously don't know.
