He used the word "nugatory". That's the new bit I got from the article. Otherwise, just another person who knows history but fails to understand it when they, yet again, try to apply Nazism to what exists in America today.

Right after the election I pissed off a colleague by saying, "Let me know when the Reichstag burns"

That was seen even by a hard left screech owl as a bit over the top

I guess we've moved into the mainstream
