:RUMOR ALERT: He was seen at Bozo this week checking out the facilities and meeting with Ash.

I'd say that's strictly a rumor, he's not at all the type of QB wants for his type offense and Ash used the last two schollies yesterday bringing in two JC's- a WR and a safety, two positions Ash has said all spring that he wanted to try and bolster. Actually he's trying to fill a corner position vacated due to graduation, but he said it's really tough to recruit a good corner so he brought in a safety and will likely move a current player to the corner (probably Briggs). Rumors are so much fun.................

I'm not overly excited about it either. The guy may come in and be wonderful but I think there's an equal chance of one of the guys already in the rotation doing very well also. I'll defer to BH's judgement on it since this is how he makes his living.

Whatever is best for the GRIZ is what I want. I do not know Roper, but as long as he is not trouble and can make us better, I welcome him.

As for UNI, I give them credit they have the cheapest shot by an opponent in WAGRIZ. What year was that, and who was the cheapshot artist? That UNI team really got GRIZNATION going, even before the cheapshot.

Does anyone have video or a link of the cheapshot I am referencing? I am sure most of GRIZNATION remembers it.
