Got a drunk dial from a buddy last night who works for me in the summers and just earned his PGA membership. "Guess where I'm at?".

I had totally forgotten we get comped Master tickets as PGA Professionals but he hadn't and it was his first priority. "I was at the Mecca and just walked the back 9. He played at BYU and will be following Weir and Summerhays today.

He's staying at some place called the Magnolia Club just across the border in S.C. Said they have a nice little lake and I'd be slaying the bass if I were there.

Nobody in the business can take off in early April to go... at least that was why I never took advantage of that. But when I worked for the Tour I certainly took advantage of having Tour credentials. Took my brother in law to the Honda in FLA one year and we're driving up and he points at the parking sign and says "you missed the turn", and I kinda just chuckled to myself. Pulled right up to the front door of the clubhouse, parked in the player lot and took him straight into the locker room. For the '97 Open I kept my Tour cart from the Kemper and was able to drive from my clubhouse to Congressional back gate and drive around the tournament. The job actually sucked but that sure was a nice perk. That little money clip was gold.

Literally got THREE different invitations this year. Can't do any of them. Gonna be in Daytona for the college nationals dance finals watching my daughter. I guess I'll go after she's graduated....

Well, guess I picked the right event. Texas Tech Pom Squad wins the Collegiate National Dance Finals as well as Collegiate Co-Ed Cheer Finals....so my daughter is a Collegiate national champion.
