Yes...

...oh and in the meantime we are on track to have the wettest year on record. So much for those perpetual drought predictions by the global warming advocates.
It''s more about dramatic swings in weather patterns, i.e. going from one of the worst droughts on record to one of the wettest winters on record. But I'm sure they don't mention that in your Fox News soundbites. :coffee:

What about the Arctic? The temp variation in the continental US has only been a few %% points. Last I heard in the North Arctic, it's 11 degrees.....The Arctic is the most sensitive and they say with in a few years polar bears will be extinct..... No more polar ice on the oceans...Just what does everyone think the ramifications of that will be in conjunction with the south Arctic?

Also, there is some concern about just what will be freed into the atmosphere besides carbon monoxide when the tundra thaws....Stuff that the human race has not been exposed to in tens of thousands of years....
Whoever "they" are are wrong..

But what if we can do something that starts the ball rolling? Wouldn't that be worth it? We won't live to see our national debt at better levels but we should do something, right?

Ok so I should have inserted the word "likely" between 'is' and 'going'. Would that have satisfied you?

Even IF their is man made global warming, anything we do is going to be put forth by the govt, which means its:
-likely to be very expensive (way more than initially projected), economically negative, and not work as intended
-driven by a social engineering agenda designed by the elitists to shift power & generate profit at your expense (some will gain power & wealth).
-little to no worldwide benefit due to the above and India, China, 3rd World..

Sweden has become so good at recycling, they're literally having to import trash to keep their waste to energy plants burning. Reusing, repairing, and recycling are conservative practices that the public is embracing.

I'm not so arrogant to think our industries haven't CONTRIBUTED. We've put a lot of shit into the air. My biggest problem is that so much pro/con research is extremely biased and/or has been falsified. I'm not referring to any human mistakes in calculations but deliberate attempts to deceive. It's like that Dr. that lied about the link between vaccines and autism. People that like put a negative light on legit research.

Yeah, the climate has changed before. We've gone through warming and cooling periods. But, the changes have been slow... over millenia instead of a century.

The little ice age really did not take any where near a century to take effect...

And since 2030 is less than a century away, again the change could come pretty quickly...
